The Holy Empire of Lono-Makua is a gargantuan, orderly nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service, punitive income tax rates, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 26.949 billion Lono-Makuans are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. Crime is moderate. Lono-Makua's national animal is the Squid, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.
