The Socialist Republic of Gundent is a huge, genial nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, devotion to social welfare, and stringent health and safety legislation. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gundent's national animal is the bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
