The Federal Republic of Fraspern is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by President with an even hand, and remarkable for its frequent executions, public floggings, and free-roaming dinosaurs. The hard-nosed population of 3.644 billion Fraspernians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

Road signs are getting harder to read under layers of knitted woolen cardigans, the national guard is mobilized whenever a mother gets separated from her child at the mall, the best-of-the-best athletes have been replaced by the best-of-the-mediocre, and children have taken to using semaphore in light of the recent mobile phone ban. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Fraspern's national animal is the falcon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.
