The Dictatorship of Druben is a huge, orderly nation, ruled by George Heinkel III with an iron fist, and remarkable for its ubiquitous missile silos, frequent executions, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 777 million Drubenians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Eisenburg. The average income tax rate is 78.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Drubenian economy, worth 109 trillion Rubles a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Tourism. Black market activity is frequent. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 140,415 Rubles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.3 times as much as the poorest.

Soldiers' positions are given away by the glint of their bayonets, drills and shovels have been banned as the government cracks down on any means of fracking, the government has started a campaign to crack down on road rage and encourage alternate means of commuting, and judges are rumored to find in favor of whoever bribes them the most. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Druben's national animal is the Phoenix, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.
