The hard-working, democratic population of 8.178 billion Condors are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The relatively small, pro-business, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Huamachuco. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 13.1%.

The very strong Condor economy, worth 484 trillion Solvas a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Book Publishing industry, with major contributions from Gambling, Tourism, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is 59,274 Solvas, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 290,052 per year while the poor average 6,951, a ratio of 41.7 to 1.

Airplanes have giant grilles on their noses to knock drones out of their path, small businesses are gobbled up almost daily by corporate giants, the "war on terror" doesn't seem to be making Condors any less frightened, and children often leave school with more diagnoses than qualifications. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Condorius's national animal is the Rooster.
