The New Technological Republic of Anarcanada is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by President Anar with an even hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, state-planned economy, and sprawling nuclear power plants. The hard-nosed, democratic population of 9.821 billion Anarcans enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption.

The medium-sized, liberal government prioritizes Education, with Administration, Industry, and Healthcare also on the agenda, while Spirituality is ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Anarquebec. The average income tax rate is 69.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Anarcan economy, worth a remarkable 1,204 trillion Anarchoes a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, fairly diversified black market in Information Technology, Tourism, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Book Publishing. More sidewalk is dedicated to animals than people, it's often raining men (hallelujah) in Anarquebec, the sound of office water cooler chatter has been replaced by the whirring of computer cooling fans, and government theft from poor artists to give to rich allies has been dubbed the "reverse Robin Hood" policy. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Anarcanada's national animal is the Pheonix-Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.
