As Menna said, I wrote a small application to pull the data for me.
If it weren't for certain website rules forbidding scripts from posting/editing dispatches, I could almost replace the position of Info Secretary entirely with a handful of applications.
Ah, computers. Strange magic boxes that I barely understand. Impressive coding, then! (Probably, I have zero frame of reference, but it seems impressive).

You can submit for my next planned tournament, which will be a Rally Cross Championship. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for my Formula-E or for next season's F1 championship.
Edit: I might hold off on hosting another chanmpionship thing until I'm more regularly at my PC and come up with something that would post more frequently. *begins planning*
Yes.
I'd be up for signing up to that.

I like that sports in TWI work like sports IRL- No politics in the competition. No matter what the home country does outside the game (except cheating in the game) they can play.
I'm a computer programming hobbyist. I have no idea what interacting with the API is like on this website, but I hope it's a nice and simple experience. I prefer APIs that are actually usable.
K-H probably has a decent rally scene, but all of the cars, tracks, and racers are invisible and immaterial because K-H doesn't exist and never existed in the first place
Do you mind if I explain it? An API (Application Programming Interface, but who cares what it stands for) allows computer programmers to use technology in programs. One example is the API your phone has that programmers use to interact with the gyroscope, which is used to tell the orientation of the phone, in your phone. This is used to detect your phone's orientation and decide if your phone should be in portrait or landscape mode. Another example is an API weather websites set up. People request data from it and the API returns data. This is a different type of API because it uses the Web (and HTTP requests, but I'll assume that doesn't matter to you) to function. So that's a comprehensive introduction to APIs. And yes, all this will be on the test
...The Western Isles Office of Role-Play ...Monthly Update - August .
As I was just recently elected, this update will be primarily an update of what I have found as I have taken on the role of SORP and what I plan to do.
Organization
As I have taken the office, I have been deleting things, purging lists, and looking at retooling others. Many things I have found were simply redundant information that other dispatches by Ostehaar have covered better and in more detail which I will communicate with him about. Here are some changes that have been taking place:
The TWI Weather page is currently unused and it is under review for its potential value.
The ADTWI page will likely be retooled and reorganized as I begin a project that would guide players to find the map spot that best suites their needs while also creating a profile for potential RP managers to look over when offering roles to potential players.
I have reduced the number of Associates to the office of the SoRP to one.
There will be more changes as time goes on and I am working with Samudera to help make these changes happen and bounce ideas off of.
In the Future...
I will be retooling the ADTWI dispatch to create a path that the SORP can take new members down to decide map placement, potential collaboration partners, and to let them get a feel for whatever area they find themselves in.
I will be restarting nationbuilding prompts very soon. Expect questions that seem tiny but make you think about your nation as a whole.
I will also start sending out "welcome to the map telegrams" as soon as the map is updated. This will be a crucial part of guiding players into our community as a whole.
Overall, I am very excited to take this role and I have done some serious thinking about how I am approaching this job in TWI and how to best help players. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please telegram The western isles office of role-play or myself.
To Office Mascot Nights Edge: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE WESTERN ISLES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A REGION THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!
I’m not opposed to a future where the US isn’t the only superpower, but those that will join us on that stage of world prominence (including the US) need to act responsibly with that power.
Except somehow its still strong in aus... Apparently we have "exclusive" and "extensive" relationship with the Trump Administration. I guess it's cause we sent a golfer who was our treasurer as our ambassador to the US
