Then, of course, there's the problem that people see in capitalism where wealth aggregates to the top eventually and the system is so entrenched to the point where it's impossible for people to claw their way out of poverty, i.e. my family where my parents each go to work, my mom goes to college to try and get a better job, and I'm about to enter the workforce prematurely so that we have money but we still can't get up there.
Plus, many blame capitalist exploitation of resources on impending climate disaster, so there's that to consider, too.
Finland did an experiment with UBI, and as I heard it, decided that it was a spectacular failure.

Yeah. UBI is good on paper but let's be honest, it is just a waste of money and also...human nature. I also read that UBI was supposed to help unemployed Finns get jobs but that very few actually did even after UBI was implemented.
Basic services is the far better alternative.

Human nature makes it very difficult to actually work with the lower levels of society
Yeah, if you have a livable income for doing nothing, what motivation is there to not just do nothing?
UBS is better, in my estimation, but seeing the quality of services my government and most others actually provide, it's better the same way getting shot in the foot is better than getting shot in the gut.

Corindi-Aizconan Joint Space Station
The CAJSS is composed of two primary modules, the Fraternité module (produced in Corindia by Acelias, Aeromada, and Corindi Dynamics, seen on the left below) and the Space Lab 1 module (produced in Aizcona, seen on the right below). The main habitation spaces and critical life support systems are contained in the Fraternité module, first launched in 2018, while the majority of the experimental hardware, including a miniature pharmaceutical laboratory amongst other standard orbital testing equipment, is contained in the Space Lab 1 module. Resupply can be performed using standard orbital vehicles or the experimental OS6 "Liberty" cargo lifting-body space plane. The individual modules were carried into low Earth orbit by Corindi Quasar rockets and the Svalbardian Atlas World Bearer Rocket produced by Arildrion Industries, whereas resupply and smaller attachments are brought by the reusable Constelación II launch platform, as it is far more cost efficient.
The station is intended to be kept in continuous operation by the CDS and the Aizconan space program until 2045, at which time it will be safely de-orbited so as to avoid debris remaining in LOE. Basic design work on a successor station, ideally to include more regional partners, has already begun.
