The Constitutional Monarchy of Khedivate-of-Egypt is a large, efficient nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape, daily referendums, and frequent executions. The hard-working, devout population of 74 million Egyptians are free to succeed or fail in life on their own merits; the successful tend to enjoy an opulent (but moralistic) lifestyle, while the failures can be seen crowding out most jails.

The relatively small, moralistic government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Defense, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9.6%.

The all-consuming Egyptian economy, worth 6.47 trillion Pounds a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Agriculture is heavily subsidized by the government, foreign governments are threatened if they so much as mention the word "election", cheap textbooks have replaced coasters at college ragers, and pristine wilderness has been trashed in the quest for cheaper oil. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, despite the fact that it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many laws. Khedivate-of-Egypt's national animal is the Desert Fox, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
