What industries are state owned?
The following business are state owned:
1 • Black Cockatoo Petroleum
NO LONGER IN ACTION. Due to being highly unpopular because of the reputation oil has, Black Cockatoo Petroleum no longer operates.
2 • Rock bottom industries
-Mining of rock, majorly granite.
3 • ‘too ore
-Ming of various metals.
-Mining licenses are available for prospecting.

4 • Thunder energy
-Altho most people have their own individual solar panels, and batteries, it is understood that not everyone can afford these commodities.
-95% of energy is drives from renewable resources.
-Carbon has a tax of 10$ per 1kg of carbon emitted.

• Health departments are owned by the government.
-Health service was set up by the government.
-Healthcare is free.
-There are privately owned health services alongside this.

Why are these specific industries state owned?

“Work safe practices act” and “Environment protections act.” Where put into place. Many corporations where furious. However, laws where not obeyed by privately owned companies. These industries where major contributors to the Accipitridae economy, many operated over seas, and funded Hawk supporters; wich themselves had a major role in developing the oil and mining industries. Corruption and un-ethical practices continued on regular occurrence, with those who tried to voice the issues becoming silenced and fired by their employers. Passing of the "Anti-corruption and clarity of fundings" legislation forced all parties to clarify the origins of their fundings, resulting in clarification to the citizens of Cacatuoidea.

On September the 5, 2006, an exact week after the 2006 elections, protestors took to the streets of Probosciger city, protesting outside Parlament house. Un-ethical practices where still being undertaken by industries. Legislation had minimal effect. The Cacatuoidean government began efforts to convert Cacatuoidea to renewable fuel sources. A carbon tax of $10 per ton was implemented, Miss Mckenzie ensured all money collected from the carbon tax was put towards funding Thunder energy, state owned hydropower plants. Citizens began to perches solar panels. Ethanol became a common fuel. Oil imports and exports where cut when renewable energy outputs reached 75% in 2007. former damaging industries collapsed, replaced with state owned “Black cockatoo petroleum” and “‘too ore”. As of 2022, Back Cockatoo Petroleum no longer operates.

The governments set up the healthcare program, and therefor owns it. This ensures free healthcare and affordable medicines. There is also private healthcare.

CACATUOIDEA AUTARKY

The Cacatuoidea autarky model relies off a mixed mutualist* economy, imports of goods that cannot be produced in Cacatouidea, and exports of goods that exceed demand.

Cacatuoidea is almost entirely self sufficient; and has been so for a very long time. This is due to a remote geographical position, causing few interactions with other nations during early history. Despite The Hawks party forming ties with many nations, all diplomatic and economic ties to The Hawk party have been dissolved. Due to Cacatuoidea being a newly recognised nation, there have been few new economic ties.

Since the elimination of the Hawks party, small business has made a come back. Small business drive Cacatuoidea’s economy.

Cacatouidea has fertile land, and along side an efficient recycling program, has managed to maintain a healthy populace and functional industry. Nothing is wasted in Cacatouidea, quality standards must be met; products that do not meet these standards are diverted to recycling plants, to be disassembled and repurposed. Cacatuoidea imports recyclable materials from other nations, implementing the carbon tax.
