We all heard about homemade tanks and all that. But what about homemade artillery? I guess you can make that and use the powders that are used in firecrackers and explode whatever is in the barrel out of it or use a different way.

As for that Christopher Columbus discussion, like WW1, which was by far worse the any human conflict up to that time, removing him from educational systems is wrong. Was he a pretty screwed up guy? Yes. Did he discover North America, like everyonr claims? No. Did he murder many native settlements during his exploration? Yes.
However its still history. History shouldnt be suppressed to "protect the young" thats how Fahrenheit 451 started. The supression of common knowledge, and if you don't know about that book, it ends with a world war to make all others pale in comparison. For the same reason we hold Germany/Japan/Italy accountable for their crimes in history books on WW2, we hold Christopher Columbus accountable in others.
