The EU, sure. But NATO should be dissolved. And you need to accept that unless you compromise with the enemy, many more lives will be lost.

Well it had always had a purpose: increasing the revenue of European and American weapon manufacturers. Those profits are much higher now thanks to the war, but still.

NATO's main purpose was combating soviet influence. With the USSR gone and other possible enemies like China being a lot more passive, NATO didn't really need to exist until Russia decided to go after Ukraine.

That's the official "reason" the bourgeoisie used to push the related legislation. The real reason is always profit. Thanks to NATO, those companies flourished since they could sell more weapons to more markets.
