What? I already proved I was right. Compared to global standards of policing, American cops are objectively some of the most undereducated and poorly screened in the world. That's a fact. You can't pretend there are good ones when they won't arrest or fire the bad ones.
honestly you could skip the first half of that, at least for los angeles. the city has more empty apartments then it has homeless folk. it's just most of it is purposely built overluxurious and marketed for ridiculous prices which can only be afforded by folk who don't want or need apartments. you could legit solve the homeless/housing issue without building jack squat, just by regulating/restructuring real estate and a bit of increased focus on outreach/placement/rehab programs.
let's try this approach. true.
Hyperbole and overly sensational language. saying this is basically erasing whatever point you make before it. your points on data are weakened because you keep choosing to die on a hyperbolic hill that is too hardline idealistic to be supported by actual percentage/data, which make your narrative untrustworthy due to you pulling made up numbers out of thin air to try and make your point instinctively rather than logically. regardless of the intrinsic/instinctive truth of the statement, if you can't stop reverting to a sensationalist soundbite, and keep making up overweighted "99%" figures to back up the hyperbole, the opponent has no reason to trust you aren't deluded by hyperbolic propaganda, no reason to trust the numbers/data points you provide, etc. in short, whether true or not, the opponent is given reason and therefore free license to disregard you as bad faith.
if you want to argue the logical point, you have to maintain logical consistency or you'll lose footing. i agree with you, just saying you need to polish your rhetoric.

USA is anti-eco, you know. Wooden houses - cutting trees constantly. Not only this, but wood rots anyway. Not only damaging the nature, but constantly doing it to constantly replace the rotten houses. Invest in concrete.

Communism literally killed hundreds of millions of people and did atrocities on par with the the crimes of Nazi Germany. It's surprising that they maintain a somewhat better image than the good (bad) Ol' Third Reich.
We have those in Mexico. A lot of them. You'll never see a wooden house there unless it's a house built by an immigrant from the US.
Cheap labor, abundant resources=cheap house but cheap quality. Also, people in Mexico are dirt poor so some don't even finish building them. They just lay around in ruins, an abandoned project from an abandoned dream. Kinda sad when I used to walk by them. I could only really picture the hardship the family that would have been has to endure to abandon building a home.
1. I guarantee you most of these so called communists would be anti communist the moment they experienced it. They may may think true communism and true communists align and think like them, but in reality there is a far greater difference.
2. Seems depressing. The olden women houses you see in old neighborhoods, buily in early 1900s and prior, all look very nice, I would want to live in those compared to houses of today, all carbon copies of eachother.

Yes, I agree. Tauri might come back and object to that, but he probably lived in the era of Glasnost and Perestroika (or at the very least, Brezhnev). So, he hasn't really experience the way the Soviets "deal" with Hunger. Even then, he thinks that the Soviets were the pinnacle of humanity and human affairs, which I think we (and a few others here) can strongly disagree with. This is going to give me a headache later, probably.
The new houses are built like literal copies, and they're like 200 grand each (or more). What an absolute scam. I'm not buying that bull****. The audacity!
all of this. and the sad thing is you can use concrete/stonework to good effect. just ask frank lloyd wright. https://cdn.thespaces.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Ennis-House-by-Frank-Lloyd-Wright.-Photos-by-Mary-E.-Nichols-courtesy-Hilton-Hyland-8-683x1024.jpg also the cookie cutter housing project culture sucks. "let's build a 300 house neighborhood with 3 blueprints and just rotate them every other house."
Just looked at my collection value and i'm wondering tf just happened https://prnt.sc/_y_lcxXYbLXW

Woah. That's actually really cool! I wish this kind of artistic interpretation was more commonplace, instead of having a slap-on concrete modern monstrosity that looks like it came from a corporate dystopia where art is banned. Everywhere I look, the buildings are all glass (which I really don't mind, as long as we don't get crap like the Walkie Talkie in London) and blocks of concrete. It's simple and cheap, I get that, but it's a frickin eyesore. It's all neutral colours! ALL OF IT!
And when it isn't it's blue or some other ugly bright colour that doesn't work well with the surrounding landscape. Because of the cheap, direct, and corporate architecture. I HATE IT! I hate Mexican houses too, they're literal frickin blocks of concrete. Sure, they'll survive an earthquake and tornado and whatnot, whereas American houses get blown away at the slightest whistle, but they're SO FRICKIN UGGO >_<
I will note that coastal Mexican cities (and probably wealthier ones) have better and prettier houses, from the leftover Colonial era. They're beautiful!
