The Holy Empire of Eisen Fatherland

United Dryciianian Pryjiim wrote:so u want the workers in charge of the government? what if some of them r greedy and what if a select group of workers creates the government and takes advantage of their authority?

Currently the modern politician is much more greedy, hate to help the commies here, but they are right on that. An older type of politician like what that have in smaller towns would be much better (i.e having a normal job and occasionally meeting to make a decision in times of need).

And no, that's not what happens because there will be an adverse effect (overthrown by the working class). There are checks under socialism or DotP, yk?

The new guy you and sindi are arguing with.

Also, I will let you think about the second part.

it is a plan decided upon by agreement of several workers' councils and no ossified bureaucracy, so i doubt there would be corruption

Having a normal job and meeting with the electorate? That's pretty much a member of the Soviet. See, the closer politicians are to Soviet members, the better!

Arctic Lands wrote:People's ideas are determined by their economic conditions, that is, capitalists do things for profit, workers do things to make lives better for themselves, that is, access to food, housing, healthcare, etc. And, to justify their goals, people make up ideologies.

The common idea isn't about "communism", it's about "giving workers the best". And that's pretty much the same everywhere.

I'd argue literally everyone's motivation is to make their lives better.

But IMO the priority would be to first form said party and organize with proletarians because the movement is practically non-existent

There's a reason why that movement barely exists; because it's incredibly unrealistic, nigh on unachievable.

Propaganda mainly. Because there isn't even much of a movement in the U.S. just to attack neoliberalism. It is just accepted as "common sense" even though it is not sensible and only helps the elite at the expense of everyone else.
