Marines, seeing raiders use kamikaze tactics, flee from those with ignited grenades, letting them blow up. Few marines are killed, but their force and morale are still strong. They finally enter the port.

The CEST who shot the raider was stabbed in the gut. Even though he's glad that he killed the raider, he's worried and in agony that he will die, he becomes injured. If it weren't for that body armor, the stab would have been rapidly fatal. CESTS paratroopers are meeting the same fate as the marines, if not worse, for they would have to shoot at raiders with ignited grenades. Confirmation is given that raiders have run out of ammunition, and so they fight back.
