Marianne was having a good time. The Columbian delegation had been kinder then expected, and her disguise as an aide seemed to be keeping away the majority of hostility, although a few perceptive people had seen through it. Her eyes caught on the delegation from The sennheiser union, and a thin smile grew on her face. A new nation. Weaving quietly through the crowd, she made her way to the delegation, pouring herself a drink. Keeping up a casual tone, something she found difficult, she asked; "Hello there, I'm Ko, an aide for the Empress, who are you, and what nation do you represent?"
The Navy of Aivintis fully conquers the African pirate outposts and moves to the north to secure the Balearic Islands, and perhaps annex Aragon, in a state of frenzy due to lack of leadership.
The countryside remained still. And the capital of Veliysk, Kisetity, remained silent as the people crowded near the balcony of the palace. A speech was to be delivered soon, by its very own Tsar. Not many people flew the Imperial Veliyiski flag amongst the crowd, and there were many murmurs. The issue of the constitution still plagued amongst the population. The popularity of the Imperial government wasn’t popular amongst the public. The Tsar was well liked, but the restrictions of his power was felt across the country as “Corrupt” politicians tried to mess with the country. Calls were made to destroy the constitution, and continue with the monarchy of the Tsar as an absolute monarchy. The Tsar, however.. Would eventually answer these calls. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The room was wooden. Two light sources were on the ceiling of the room, and a few windows were towards the right side of the room. There were two people sitting on a chair, and behind them remained a radio that was turned off. Paintings sprawled across the walls, and they mainly consisted of battles or previous Tsars'. The current Tsar, however, remained seated for some time. Staring into his colleague ahead of him. The room was completely silent, excluding the sounds of birds chirping. The silence was eventually broken, by a soft murmur by said colleague. “I’m afraid… We cannot accept the deal your offering us.” The Tsar looked more so into the colleague, and spoke in a rasp tone. “Excuse me? May you repeat that?” The colleague shifted his gaze towards the window. “We can’t accept the deal your proposing. The constitution will remain.” The Tsar stood up for a moment. Walking behind himself, he picked up a cap of his, and stroked his mustache while looking at the colleague. “That's a shame.” He declared all of a sudden. “I rather liked you. Well, regardless....” The colleague stood up, yelling “The constitution will not be removed for your own purposes! We freed the people of Veliysk! You didn’t!” The Tsar ignored him, and walked out of the room. The colleague watched on as the Tsar walked out of the door, and closed the door. He had a few moments to reconcile on what he had just done. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Tsar finally approached the white balcony on the palace. Suddenly emerging towards the public, a massive cheer was made, and the few imperial banners there were flown heavily. The Tsar, holding a few pieces of paper by his side, rose them up in the air and yelled, “I am speaking to all of you today…” He paused for a moment. “For a purpose. You all are fully aware of the constitution we hold over this nation. We all are aware of the responsibilities the government holds over this country. We all want proper order in this nation. As we approach the next decade, we begin to hold doubts whether or not our nation will survive to see the next year of its life. As instability grows.. As our problems grow, we hold more and more issues in our nation. We begin to be divided. Economic stability in the nation is collapsing. And we’re forced to be put out of our little isolation that we never needed! Of course, if we are to survive this decade, we need to get out of our isolation. Trade more with nations, establish diplomacy with our neighbors, and more.. Then finally, head over towards one goal out there for us: To reach a golden age for the Tsardom, and establish its position in the sun properly.” Stopping for a moment, the Tsar looked towards the crowd and yelled, “Vpered!”
