The Empire of Makko Oko

The Controlist Ferwerter Union wrote:"I think we will be able to arrange a separate CITS network within Makko Oko as you prefer. The network will still be maintained and operated by a Ferwerter government government directed agency. As mush as both you and I dislike Minister Tuyning, she is still the Minister of State Security and a Ferwerter Controlist Peoples Liberation Party member. But I assure you, I will make sure to limit Tuynings influence on this matter and soon I hope to oversee a reorganization of the Ferwerter Central Legal Affairs Commission. I hope indeed that our own agencies can form a good bond with the NPDSR as to ensure the effectiveness of our joint operations. If you wish I can send over technological experts to asses what infrastructure still needs to be put in place to allow for a successful implementation of the CITS program."

"Understood and I will approve of such technological experts coming to our soil. Send my diplomatic ministry the details and we'll approve temporary visas immediately." the Emperor says then that he must go tend to other matters of the state, loved talking to Stahitmao and wished him and his nation the best and he wished the same, then they both hung up.

The Equestrianic Imperium of Twilight Sparkle

Sanctuary Point wrote:“Perhaps it might be best if you do take on new identities, not just for now but for your new Diarchal lives.” Skia suggested as he finished his prayer rather quickly. “Let us truly say that Pearlescent and Shield Wall died in the incident. The daughter of a cultist duke and her pet guard had no real future amongst the faithful, perhaps it was better this way.” The Abbess ended her own prayer after another minute before turning to Pearlescent. “The Inquisitor does have a point, I myself discarded my old life when I began my true service to the God-Empress as did the Canonesses.” She caught on to the growing worry in the noblemare’s eyes. “Now that’s not to say I expect you to become a Valkyrie, you’re a bit too old to start the training anyway. Still, it would be for the best if you further distance yourself from Duke Silver and the rest of the Equestrian nobility.”

Pearlescent and Shield thought about it for a moment. After a minute of silence they glanced at each other and seemed to have reached an agreement (somehow without saying a single word out loud).

"Very well," Pearlescent said. "Maybe adopting a new name will help me in not thinking of him as my Father anymore, but as a monster that needs to be destroyed as soon as possible. Let Lady Pearlescent, daughter of Duke Silver, be dead from this day onwards. Instead, from now on, I will adopt a new name, a name that represents my hopes and dreams for the future of all Sentient Ponies. Let my new name be... Hope."

Shield said, "As for me, as Shield Wall, I've spent most of my life as a slave to an uncaring, selfish Pony who saw me an my kind as lesser creatures fit only to serve or act as a blood sacrifices to fuel his ambitions for more power. Maybe it's better for Shield Wall to finally cease to exist. As my new name, I will adopt... erm..." he hesitated for a couple of seconds before finishing his sentence, "...Bulwark."

Sanctuary Point wrote:Within the sanctum another statue of Celestia towered over everyone, this one was cast in gold and stood up on her hind legs with her wings and forelegs spread and a toga wrapped around it. Her eyes cast a judgmental gaze down at a pit of water where Sonorous stood along the lip, directing lesser priests. Smoke seemed to billow from lit incense in excess of what small sticks should make and prayers of cleansing were recited as Alula stood by Rainbow, her form also well honed from years of service yet deceptively small. “When it comes to your turn, answer as I have. Do so with conviction and all will be well.” She instructed as Sonorous’s booming voice called out. “Who approaches?”
“I, Alula Kicker, approach.”
“What do you seek?”
“The Grace of The Sisters.”
“To what end?”
“Salvation from corruption.”
“What will you give?”
“Devotion wholehearted.”
“Be cleansed, Alula.”
The Elysian stepped down into the waters, wading forth until it reached her chin. She shut her eyes and dunked her head beneath the surface and Rainbow watched as a splotch of black formed on Alula’s back before it started to writhe. The splotch grew a mouth and a screech seemed to come from inside Rainbow’s head before it flung itself off Alula and dissolved in the waters.

Well I'll be damned, Rainbow thought when she saw the black smudge appear, screech and dissolve before her eyes. Until now she hadn't really believed this ritual would actually accomplish anything. But if such a seed of corruption resided in her as well, she was now doubly determined to go through with this, no matter how odd she might find the ritual itself.

She waited until Alula had left the pool before stepping forward and answering Sonorous's ceremonial questions as instructed. Then, taking a deep breath, she descended into the pool and submerged herself.

At first, nothing happened.

But after a few seconds something began to leak out of the Equestrian General. It was pitch black and oily in texture, and it made the waters of the pool bubble as if they were close to boiling over. More and more pure corruption poured out, forming a ring of blackness around Rainbow, while eerie wailing and wordless, mocking whispering filled the minds of everypony in the sanctum.

Suddenly Rainbow raised her head from the tainted water, her eyes filled with pure horror and despair. She let out a horrified, almost animalistic scream that seemed to last forever and kept echoing in the chamber long afterwards.

The oily black substance lingered on for uncomfortably long before it finally started to dissolve, but Rainbow didn't wait for it to disappear. Obviously in full panic mod now, she clambered out of the pool like a drowning filly. She tried to say something as she pulled herself back to solid ground, but no coherent words came out, only panicked babbling. Suddenly, her pupils dilated and she passed out on the floor next to the pool, surrounded by the horrified, confused Elysians.

Urheth

Urheth National Press Headquarters
Shar Eloun, Urheth

"Chief, I honestly don't know if I'm the man to report on this."

Aminat Naazird stared down at the paper before him with a mix of shock and wistfulness on his expression.
This was something he had been waiting for since the age of fifteen. It was then that their human oppressors had been officially uprooted in an internal coup, and it was then that his first dreams of seeing a new world had come to him. Vivid memories of a childhood spent in toil came to the forefront as he processed what it was that he was reading.
It had been forty years since freedom. Aminat was fifty-five years old now, standing tall and with a muscular build, the fur around his muzzle greying slowly. The memories never got less agitating, and as he'd progressed through his career as a journalist, exploring the legacy left behind by the empire that had scarred him and his parents and their parents, it only drove his passion further.

"This is historic. This is- it's- how can any man do this announcement justice?"

The man across from him exhaled quietly. He was the Head Supervisor, the highest authority at the National Press, about ten years Aminat's senior and one of his closest friends. He saw Aminat's tired, eerily keen eyes and couldn't help but sit up in his seat.
"On the contrary, friend. I think you're the only one who can do it justice," the Head Supervisor replied. "The people need to see their star reporter. They need the peace of mind your presence provide in the uncertain times to come."

Aminat sighed in turn, taking a drag from his cigarette, the smoke drifting down passively from his maw.

"I know it's difficult for you," the Head Supervisor continued. "It's difficult for the both of us. Reading this missive was as bewildering for me at first as it is to you now. We experienced it together. But nobody else can do it. It is likely to be the most momentous broadcast of your career."

"I don't really have a choice, do I?" Aminat replied at last. "It's finally happening. Urheth is entering the world stage."

----

Urheth breaks centuries-long isolationism as it enters the international stage
The desert nation of Urheth has ended centuries of complete isolationism and entered the world stage publically. The capital city of Shar Eloun is now open to select travelers, and the Emperor has opened diplomatic channels for other nations.
Urhethian culture is heavily focused on hospitality and hedonism, with brothels and drug houses commonly found in the cities. These clash starkly with the monasteries and ancient villages found further out in the warm mountains. A vast stock of natural resources from these mountains ensures the nation's continued survival, and its unique race of canine beings maintain the country's rich customs.
Tensions are brewing, however, as public opinion remains split on this decision to enter the eyes of the world...

The Empire of Westbeech

Coalition Pressure Increases

After the battle in the Pacda system of the Galactic Coalition, Westbeechian ships have been intercepting Alliance strike forces, slowly pushing the "front lines" of the conflict closer to Corporate Alliance systems. On Koriban, Coalition military leaders meet for the first time within the Galactic Capital.

Within the capital building, in a specially built meeting room

"Ladies and gentlemen of the Coalition, we welcome you to Koriban to discuss the strategy utilized by Coalition forces and our next plans for strikes." Grand Moff Tiprin stood at the end of a long table alongside members of the Big Five, two other Westbeechian admirals, and four other military leaders voted upon by the Coalition. "As you are well aware, the combat has been very one-sided since the battle in the Pacda system. Coalition ships have been carefully making advances across space, easily intercepting and destroying lone or small groups of Alliance ships. The Alliance fleets seem to be divided by participating civilization as well, seeing that their origin points must be from entirely different systems. Johnathon Yolten will discuss the idea that has been discussed by leading admirals." Tiprin moved to the seat at the end of the table as Johnathon got up and moved to the center.

A hologram appeared before the leaders, showing the area of the galaxy that has been marked as Corporate Alliance territory. The systems on the map were clearly labelled with either a white color or a red color. "The Alliance has been attempting to concentrate their ships again to launch similar strikes to that as the attacks performed not long ago. Our scanners indicate that their trajectories would be having them attempting to regroup at these planets. These are also the same planets we have seen their attack forces attempt to retreat to. We shall deploy large fleets in order to strike these possible staging areas and quickly follow up with ground assaults. Our mission is to eliminate the Alliance and ensure that we may secure these world for the betterment of the Coalition." Johnathon then disabled the hologram and went back to his seat.

Grand Admiral Krellar then stood from his seat and announced, "As it is Alliance territory, it is our responsibility to determine how we shall treat these planets and their inhabitants. Therefore, we are putting our options to vote. There are two current categories as established by Coalition law: Complete conflict or limited conflict. You are all aware of what is meant by these two categories, therefore we shall move immediately to a vote. All in favor of utilizing a limited conflict when assaulting the Alliance planets?" The four non-Westbeechian leaders raised their hands. "All in favor of complete conflict?" All the Westbeechian staff raised their hands. "Then it is decided. We shall strike the enemy and strike them hard." The military leaders left, the visiting leaders visibly disturbed, but keeping up appearances for the Coalition Press.

In Lilie's personal office of the capital building

A series of reports and papers were before Lilie, some of them new contracts. A smile grew on her face as she read about the latest developments from Westbeechian driveyards. In Yuat, they have designed and manufactured three new types of ships: The Mandator-Class Siege Dreadnaught, the Allegiance-Class Star Destroyer, and the Executor-Class Super Star Destroyer. Because they had been in development for some time, there were sufficient numbers to attach them to fleets, but not fully form or build up fleets with. A Westbeechian chemical plant has also reporting significant developments, utilizing oxidized pure metals attached to the alloys of ships in order to attach organic polymers and create a stealth coating. Due to the ability to manipulate these polymers, they can also adapt to different environments or alternative scanners or devices. With these new additions and the current state of the conflict, it seemed like nothing was going to stop the Coalition advance.

The church of positivity

Sadripoor wrote:“So you won’t disclose your overseas assets to the Suraiyan people?” Nazurbayakzul asks, her brows raised.

"It is not relevant to the matter of taxes and income in Suraiya, so no."

Sadripoor

The church of positivity wrote:"It is not relevant to the matter of taxes and income in Suraiya, so no."

Apparently satisfied, the representative leans back. “How much money do you have overseas that you’re not telling us?” she asks, a smirk on her face. Princess Atilkumar brings down her gavel.

“Madame, you are out of order.”

“I’m just wondering what Mr. Ariano is hiding, surely he’d tell us about his overseas assets otherwise—“

“That is not the topic of this hearing, you cannot bait a speaker during their testimony,” the chair scolds.

“Apologies, ma’am, but I think the Suraiyan public has a right to know when they’re being taken advantage of.”

Atilkumar’s brow raises as she sorts through and collects her files. “Yes, well, you are out of order so let’s wrap this up.” She raises
her eyes from her files and clears her throat. “It is now 6:00, this meeting will adjourn, long live the King.”

The room replies with a tired “and the dynasty from which he descends,” before standing up, the tense and official silence clearing the air for the much lighter, less oppressive bustle of activity.

The Old Land of Darklore

Well, this had been easy, Professor Doctor Wallace Lee thought as he sat in the comfortable chair of the president. Ex-president actually, he corrected himself as his eyes fell on the blood splattered across the desk before travelling to the corpse crumpled in the corner. It was missing its head. That strange Dollmaster had said she needed it for the grand announcement...not something he really wanted to think more about considering the Dolls he had already seen.

With a shaky hand he opened the president's cigar box and took out a big cigar. He smelled it. Imported, expensive. He normally didn't smoke, knowing full well about the health complications it could cause. But today...today he felt like he really needed it.

He stuck the fat cigar into his mouth and started patting himself down for his lighter. He knew he had taken one with him when he had thrown himself into something that could be called 'gear'. In his case, in lieu of any form of military gear, he had thrown himself into his fishing garb, a relic from better times when he'd still go out to fish with his friends, most of whom died during the Dark Plateau Incident 14 years back. He found it attached to his angler's hat for some reason.

The first puff from the cigar sent him into a coughing fit. The second as well. The third too. Having given it three tries, Wallace decided that perhaps this was a sign for him to stop while he still could and instead tossed the cigar onto the corpse, watching it smoulder slightly with detached curiosity as it set the clothes on fire.

He lazily looked up when the doors flew open and a scantily clad young woman entered. She wore an odd outfit consisting of thigh high black socks, black hotpants, a black and red suit jacket with none of the buttons actually used to close it and the only thing holding it together being what appeared to be a black tie with a skull on its knot. Her skin was pale and her purple eyes held a morbid mirth as her black twintails swished through the air behind her.

"So you're the guy who's in charge of this op?"

, she said as she sized him up and down before extinguishing the fire smouldering on the corpse of the former president with but a simple bolt of lightning that just evaporated the entire corpse.

"Not gonna lie, you don't look that impressive."

"I hope my actions impress more than my looks."

, Wallace replied diplomatically, his eyes still hefted on the spot where the corpse had been just a moment ago. He could still see its outline on the wall but the body itself was gone. They had sent another dangerous one to him.

"What, you mean to tell me that corpse down there was your work? Nah fam, I've seen a lotta bodies and I can tell you, that decapitation wasn't done by a wrinkly old guy like you. That was Thinblood work if I'd ever seen any. You trying to gain some stolen valour here or somethin'?"

, she replied swiftly, hopping onto the desk and leaning towards him.

"Oh no, I certainly didn't kill him. But I told your 'Thinbloods' where and who to kill. I believe we should be reaping the benefits of my instructions once Dollmaster Elfin Rune is finished with her preparations."

, he said, trying his best to keep a confident facade and not lean backwards, regardless how much he wanted to due to her close proximity.

"Now may I enquire as to who you are?"

"Oh I'm the Undertaker. And no, that's the name I go by and everyone else calls me by, my only name. I was the one who put all of our high and mighty bloodsuckers to sleep, ya know?"

She hopped off the table before grabbing one of the cigars and taking a sniff, then putting it in her mouth and lighting it with a snap of her fingers. Unlike Wallace she did not cough and instead simply exhaled some smoke...which for some reason took on the shape of skulls circling around her head.

"And if you smoke these some more, I'll be putting you under sooner than you'd probably like."

Luckily Wallace was saved from this uncomfortable situation by Elfin Rune, the shy Dollmaster sticking her head in through the door, gloom hanging heavy all across her features as she meekly said:

"The Doll is ready, Professor Doctor Lee. The stage for its performance has also been set. Reports from the broadcasting station are stable. We can begin."

Wallace gave the Undertaker a stare before getting off his chair and hurriedly walking towards Elfin Rune, glad to finally get away.

"I'll see you again soon, Proff! Can't wait to get your measurements..."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That night the state of Embweald was virtually decapitated. A small number of attackers successfully took over critical infrastructure within the capital city of Draculea, smashing any form of resistance with uncanny precision before it could even pose a real threat. The attackers were described by witnesses as possessing downright monstrous speed and strength, their weapons and uniforms looking like something out of some generic sci-fi movie. Alas, they were all too real and the corpses of several hundred policemen, secret service members and soldiers laid there to prove it.

A broadcast made from the presidential palace mere hours into the violent coup, with the president seemingly voluntarily making use of emergency powers granted for just these sorts of occasions to tell armed and loyal forces to stand down and cooperate with the clearly much superior attacers, sowed confusion within the ranks of the remaining loyalists and paralyzed further resistance enough for further targeted strikes to eliminate it before it could ferment.

Within 4 hours the remainder of the government stepped back from their posts. Within 6 hours, parliament had convened and changed the constitution with a 100% supermajority to create the office of the Supreme Verweser, a new governmental position replacing that of the president and outfitted with extensive executive, legislative and judicative powers. One Wallace Lee was elected by Parliament to fill this new position. Within 7 hours, Supreme Verweser Lee had put out an address to the nation, outlining his goals, policies and the future for Embweald.

Speculation as to the origin of these mysterious forces abounded immediately. Talk of rebellion against this obvious coup were making the rounds. The predominant opinion was that Lee had managed to snatch some mercenary outfit somewhere and executed a coup for some reason. Due to manpower being short for Lee, only the troops within the capital stood down as well as several formations in more remote areas, their commanders feeling themselves more bound to the letter than to the spirit of the law. However, elsewhere rebellion was brewing and loyalist forces were already massing.

THE CENTURY

As the Sinkoi Ballet finally opens its doors to foreigners, the Century examines Suraiya's path to the pinnacle of the ballet world

Today, Suraiya's Sinkloi Ballet is at the summit of their art, and by far the most popular in the world. Before an audience of millions, Suraiya's famous ballerinas and danseur nobles twist and twirl with a power and grace unique to their country's dancers. They call it wai, or "flying", a method of executing traditional steps with a dramatic focus on higher bounds and leaps into the air. It's a particularly difficult style, one that is hard on the legs of Suraiyan dancers. Suraiya's ballet scene is more competitive than any other, with over 400 academies competing in 172 different competitions annually.

Today, the Century traces the history of modern Suraiyan ballet, and how it's tied itself to the rise of the Suraiyan nation.

In 1940, a young exchange student named Preeti Rajakumaratpornkul traveled to Artarum to study dance. She hailed from an old noble family, and grew up in the city of Vajasthan. She studied Artarumen ballet for four years, and eventually went on to dance with professional troupes for half a decade, returning to Suraiya in 1955. Her life in Artarumen had exposed her to a completely different world from the one she'd known. Growing up in Suraiya, she'd been sheltered from the immense poverty of the world around her, but upon her return, entered the world as an adult, and was quickly horrified by the conditions of those living only blocks away from her family's estate. Her attempts to organize a ballet troupe among the city's wealthy elite were unsuccessful--few had interest for the strange foreign dance.

In 1962, Rajakumaratpornkul arrived in Suradao, where she finally managed to open a small ballet program. She quickly found herself desperate to shelter young boys and girls from the difficult conditions they lived in, and began to focus on providing free courses for them with support from her family. Raksa Anjaiyadikat, a protoge of Rajakumaratpornkul, recalls her stern but fair teaching methods. "I think she was trying to keep us off the streets. We didn't go to school, so we usually would be out often. When youngsters are bored they usually end up doing bad things. She knew that."

It worked. Within four years, the school had become famous enough to attract the attention of Her Majesty, the late Queen Prichit, who royalized the academy and relocated it to the grounds of the old Sinkloi Palace, for which the Ballet troupe would become known. Class sizes quickly grew, and by the 1970s, ballet had become a national sensation. It was a story of scrappy youngsters rising through the social order through their talent and passion. Ballet became the workers dance, and the Sinkloi began touring the country, it's performances broadcast on live television soon after. In 1980, Rajakumaratpornkul stepped down as the head of the Ballet, and was replaced by Geetaporn Tansonit Makpsompattrichai. If Rajakumaratpornkul introduced ballet to Suraiya, Matpsompattrichai made it truly Suraiyan. She wrote a number of new ballets based upon Suraiyan legend, and introduced traditional Suraiyan instrumentation into the performances. Most famous of these was the Matihara, which tells the story of a romance between a Xiang princess and her Surai handmaid.

Through the next several decades, the Sinkloi grew to become the most well-funded, largest, and most prestigious ballet in the world, but enjoyed a limited presence on the international stage due to it's refusal to accept foreigners. That's about to change.

The Sinkloi School announced recently that it would begin admitting foreign students, and also said it would begin a four-nation tour of the Aurelian continent, beginning in Suraiya and then traveling to Spiritual Republic of Caryton, The Controlist Ferwerter Union, and Ferwerter Hegebeintum. The ballet will introduce foreign audiences to one of Suraiya's most respected ballets, the Tale of the Raj, a performance based upon the dramatic fall of the legendary Rajakama Empire 4,000 years ago at the hands of the first Xiangmen dynasty.

For many countries, ballet is an art to be studied. In Suraiya, it is much more. For many, ballet was a light when times were dark. As the nation navigated itself through famine and the chaotic national industrialization of the late 20th century, millions found joy in the Sinkloi ballet's performances. But dancing for the Sinkloi Ballet is not all pretty spins and gleeful bounds. Than Koi, a 26 year old danseur noble who's become Suraiya's most famous ballet star, explains the immense pressure each member feels when they perform. "Whenever we dance, our instructors remind us that we are representatives of His Majesty. We are the monarchy's dancers, so we must bring honor to the King," he says solemnly.

Five minutes later, Koi hurtles into the air to clear 10 feet of stage with a wai five feet high. Clearly he doesn't need to worry to much about disappointing His Majesty.

Establishing relations with Diamentium is indeed of great interest to us and we will gladly accept an exchange of embassies to facilitate further diplomatic contact. I think that extensive economic cooperation would indeed entail many mutual benefits. I truly hope that we can establish a fruitful relationship in this regard. Global trade is of great importance to us and we have been looking to expand our network to Otenia for quite a while.

I shall be honest with you, Diamentium is also of great strategic importance to us. Your country is closely located to Skerania, a country which has continually threatened our security and has disturbed the vulnerable balance of global peace. This why I would also like to discuss the potential for security cooperation between the Controlist Ferwerter Union and Diamentium. If new extensive trade routes were to be opened to Diamentium, we need to be able to ensure its continued security. I would like to know what position your government has to potential military cooperation. The Empire of Makko Oko

The Makko Oko Office Of The Emperor

June 11th, 2022

It was that time of the year, the end of spring tourism statistics by the Minister Of Diplomatic Affairs, Alora Hakjova. It was quite a boring meeting, and the Emperor preferred to not have the meeting, yet kept it to himself surprisingly.

"So Emperor, throughout spring time, which we've counted as from February to May 2022," Minister Hakjova then starts pointing at his presentation board filled with statistics and lines, "We went from approximately 1,166 tourists per hour on February 2nd, in accordance with airport reporting and border control tracking, to a measly 1,289 tourists per hour on May 31st. That's only 123 more people in a period spanning 4 months." the Emperor is somewhat stunned by the statistics he hears, and genuinely starts to show interest and probes Minister Hakjova, asking "What can be done to increase tourism?".

Minister Hakjova is personally taken aback, as ever since he first became minister, and doing these projections for 4 years consistently, interest had never truly been shown by the Emperor, and while he keeps it to himself, he does wonder what struck the sudden interest in tourism statistics, was it that citizenship numbers were going down, births were going down, nobody would ever truly know unless the question was asked. Minister Hakjova then responded, "What if we leverage our foreign relations in a more positive note?" and he went further on to state how foreign relations are always diplomatic, or always military, and never really involve the people, the citizens of the foreign nation. "We need to establish an open immigration area (OIA) where citizens of designated nations don't need visas to visit, and nor do they need permanent residency permits, they just have to apply and state they're wanting to become residents and it's done."

Appearing to have already done the statistics years ago right after the end of the Civil Transition War, Minister Hakjova runs out and comes back with more presentation boards, showing projections that a plan such as this would not only increase tourism, but also increase chances of getting more citizens, more workers and also getting more diplomatic relations with currently unestablished nations. Suddenly, Minister Of Defense Radim Kucera storms into the room, seemingly that he bugged the room, but nobody really realizes, and he starts shouting "ARE YOU INSANE?!? IMMIGRATION IS TIGHT FOR A REASON AND YOU WANT US TO RELAX IT?!? SERIOUSLY HAKJOVA, SERIOUSLY?!?" and the Emperor says in a firm voice to sit down and shut his trap. He does as such, looking somewhat fearful.

Minister Hakjova, taken aback by the random outburst, responds to Minister Kucera saying "Only to the nations we designate, and if we know they're safe, there's no worries. Besides, we can still use any authorized measure as we deem fit, and we can still watch people via intelligence anyhow to prevent terrorism." and Minister Kucera then realizes his mistake and apologizes profusely and is then dismissed out of the room by the Emperor, who then says he approves of the idea and will immediately draft legislation on the issue, as a thank you to all the nations to which have great or better than great diplomatic relations with Makko Oko, and who support the government and his regime side by side, hand in hand.

Minister Hakjova is then dismissed out of the room and the Emperor starts immediately working on the new legislation.

So about your proposal of security cooperation, I would like to say that its a great idea! Although its true that Skerania is a country close to Diamentium
i assure that this closeness is purely geographical, and that we don't have any diplomatic relations established with
Skerania yet, therefore we are not bothered with your actions against it and accept your proposal of security cooperation.
We are a peaceful nation on international scene, but if someone is messing with our ally, they have to deal with us too.

I hope that this message is a good enough answer for your question.

To Deus Custodiae AI, Diamentian Council Segment of International Affairs, Diamentian Council Segment of Army and National Security

I am glad to hear that the Diamentian government is willing to engage in extensive economic cooperation. The relations between our peoples will most certainly prove fruitful.

It is also good to hear that Diamentium is interested in security cooperation. The Ferwerter Government is particularly interested in deterring Skerania from engaging in military aggression and disturbing global peace. There is quite some distance between the Controlist Ferwerter Union and Skerania however and with the help of Diamentium we wish to bridge this gap. To do this we propose to construct an overseas Ferwerter military base within Diamentium which will be greatly beneficial to the national security of both our nations. Only with a military presence on their doorstep will we be able to seriously deter them from engaging in agression. I and the Ferwerter Govenrment would like to know what your position is on this proposal. If needed I would be happy to send over a delegation to discuss these matters further.

To answer your final question: the Controlist Ferwerter Union uses the metric system, while temperature is measured in Kelvin and dates are displayed according to the Holocene calendar. If I may ask, why this specific inquiry?

I am confident that the relations between our peoples will bring great prosperity and peace to both our nations.

Yours Sincerely,

To the Supreme Chairman of The controlist ferwerter union and ferwerter ministry of foreign affairs:

I would like to say, that although we agree for building a military base for The Controlist Ferwerter Union's armies to station in,
we are concerned about doing so could enable Skerania's response on sudden militarisation on the border.
We care about international stability, but engaging in massive military deployment on the border of an other nation could be counter-intuitive,
and instead of deterring Skerania from commiting any military agression, it could spark an accual reason to engage in one.
better idea would be keeping armiesfurther from the border and in more "defensive" positions, so the enemy will get an idea without getting a valid reason to militarise themself.

Westbeech Strikes the Alliance

"We are dropping out of hyperspace now!" Three Westbeechian strike fleets were deployed to the sources of the earlier invasion of Coalition systems. The First Strike Fleet was the first fleet deployed to their destination, which was a system boasting a large trade port. The Corporate Alliance were unable to deploy a fleet to defend the system due to the insistent interceptions performed by the Westbeechian fleets, allowing Admiral Aldo the pleasure of easily taking complete control of the space in the system.

The same success was mirrored by the Second Strike Fleet, under Admiral Kesset. In both systems, Westbeechian ships began scanning in preparation for their assault on the planets, hopefully destroying any hope for the Corporate Alliance in launching any further offensives.

The Third Strike Fleet had not been deployed yet, but the reports had already come in. The admiral in command of this fleet was certain that his fleet would meet little to no resistance and would easily be able to launch ground forces to occupy the system quickly...

The Kingdom of Suraiya conveys a desire to establish a proposed Aurelian Union through its embassies to the following states. The Aurelian Union, as drawn up under the informally named “Ganajahadi Plan” of Suraiyan Minister of State Kilghai Ganjahadi, would exist as a 6-member economic bloc of the continents leading powers. The Aurelian Union would oversee a Continental Monetary Fund, an organization directed by a Board of Trustees from the 6 member states and designed to invest in the economies of the Union and other developing nations in the continent, while a Continental Reserve would work to stabilize currencies and exchange rates across Aurelia.

The organizations would have their headquarters in the Suraiyan capital of Suradao, and the first President of the Aurelian Union—responsible for appointing the lead member of the board of trustees for both the Reserve and the CMF, would be a candidate submitted by Suraiya and approved by all member states. After the end of their 5-year term, open elections would be held for a successor. As the founding member and architect, Suraiya’s government states that it would be the most well equipped to pick the candidates it feels would be most capable of guiding the Union through its infancy.

Under the special inaugural election, though, both boards of trustees would elect their own Chairs.

The Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs Says FUNIA Program Is A Go

Category: International Affairs

Today the Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs has officially announced that the recently incepted FUNIA program, or the Fast & Unrestricted Immigration Area, has officially started. Currently, only The Controlist Ferwerter Union is under the FUNIA program, as the Minister Of Diplomatic Affairs, Alora Hakjova, has stated that "While the FUNIA program is under codified law, our nation has never before attempted a program such as this. Therefore, until we decide the time is right, the FUNIA program is under a pilot period, where only, at this time, Ferwerter nationals may take advantage of the benefits of FUNIA."

What Minister Hakjova stated regarding codified law rings true, as only yesterday the Diplomatic & Free Immigration Act was enacted with the sole purpose of establishing the FUNIA program and its procedures. If the Ministry Of Diplomatic Affairs declares the FUNIA program a failure though during the pilot, what will happen to it? OMONN officials did take the time to ask Minister Hakjova what made the state choose Ferwerter specifically to be a part of the pilot, and he responded "We're very close allies with the Ferwerter Government, and as such saw no reason to not let their citizens benefit within our soil during the pilot. The ministry gives no guarantees that Ferwerter will continue to be authorized for the FUNIA program if and when the pilot period ends. This is a new era for Makko Oko, and I wish to spearhead and embrace it gracefully."

Changes have quickly been noticed at airports around the nation, with the largest airport, Opposh International, adding 3 dedicated FUNIA traveler lanes, reducing the regular traveler lanes from 10 to 8.

Assassination Of Ferwerter Political Head Spearheads New Legislation

Category: Law & Order

Recently, Ferwerter Hegebeintum's Supreme Chairman, Henry De Fries, died in an assassination attack of a bombing. Not much information is known, other than local media is blaming it on the failures of the Ministry Of State Security. The same day local media started reporting about the assassination, the Emperor officially announced new legislation to help prevent failures of security within our own soil. The legislation, known as the Public Order Act, authorizes emergency powers and sets procedures for states of emergency and martial law.

Civil rights advocates with Amnesty International are worried over a provision stipulating the establishment of an emergency power where as seen fit, the state can establish temporary police forces out of non-police governmental departments, such as the Workplace Compliance Office.

They feel that this power could be abused to more easily put down pro-democracy activists, among other individuals seen as hostile to the state.

I am glad to hear that you will agree to the construction of a Ferwerter overseas military base on Diamentian soil. I share your concerns and I agree that it would be best to have the base distanced from the border with Skerania. This military base is meant purely for defensive purposes and its location must indeed reflect that nature. Preferably the base will be located on the coast so that it can contain a military port which will facilitate logistics. Also we would like it to contain a small airstrip so that air forces can be stationed at the base as well. I suggest that the base will maintain a small presence of around 7,000 Ferwerter troops, as to ensure that it can act quickly if necessary. If there are any other concerns for the Diamentian government I would gladly hear them, so that we can come to an agreement that is most beneficial for the both of us. I think this base will ensure the preservation of global peace and prosperity, while protecting both our nations national security and sovereignty. Only in peace can our nations truly thrive.

I have a feeling this is the beginning of a great friendship between our nations and our peoples.

The Autocratic Empire of New Franshire

A New Leader

With Fritz Vogel in charge, he starts supporting terrorist groups. One of them is named NF-Quire, controlled by his brother, Felix Vogel.

The Empire of Westbeech

The Invasions Begin

The First and Second Strike Fleets, having secured the space in each of their systems, began scans of the planets they were each targeting. For most scans, there was a good deal of life, but a lack of military personnel, all except for one planet in each system, these planets having a surface that looked like it was made to defend against other interplanetary civilizations. Under the surface were deep tunnels that, although were not complicated, contained a great deal of men and supplies and were connected to small underground facilities, supposedly to protect troops against issues on the surface.

The same strategy was to be employed in both systems, to only fight the fortress worlds once the inhabited worlds were completely occupied. So from each strike group, the soldiers were readied and equipment prepared while the guns of the Star Destroyers began bearing down upon identified Alliance formations. "There will be no quarter for these villains. They have struck us and wish to destroy us, so we shall put them to the same fate."

Orbital bombardments began, and the soldiers were launched. This time, there truly would be bloodshed.

On Koriban, in the high security prison

The Third Strike Fleet's admiral approached the man who had lead the Corporate Alliance forces in the Pacda System. "Looks like the Corporate Alliance is about to fall. There is no more hope for recovery from you, I'm afraid."

The man, who was sitting on his bed, turned to face the admiral. "You underestimate the capabilities of our fleets, admiral. I assure you that you will be the one who is outdone." With that, the man turned away and laid upon his bed.

The admiral scoffed. "I have great doubts about the Corporate Alliance being able to even destroy one of my capital ships. But I suppose someone like you just cannot see when he is defeated." With that, the admiral then left the prison, boarded his Imperial-Class Star Destroyer, and had his fleet move to their target, where he looked to claim his own fame.
