Corvinna | Well, I haven’t kept track of the specific amount of time I’ve put into my gaming, but I would say ESO would be number one for me. I can’t even begin to tell you how many hours of sleep I’ve lost playing that game. Up until recently, I’ve spent pretty much all my free time grinding, farming and questing. Skyrim would be up there, too, along with the ME trilogy (especially the first one), the Fable trilogy and the last few Saints Row games. I’m sure there’s others, but I’m too tired to think of them right now.

The Aquatic Librarian Knights of Tethys 13 | Question of the Day: What is your opinion on microtransactions in games? Dragonian Alliance, Cretanja, Arkadia Universalis, Tiplomecja, and 3 othersGormhuth, Communistic Anarchy and Nature, and Maadi
The Rodentine Seer of Malphe II | Vermintide 2 is at the lead with about 2k hours, though I can't play it anymore because the PC that could actually run it is broken. Mount and Blade Warband is a few hundred behind at about 1.6k, Total War Medieval 2 at 600-ish, Civilization 5 at 500-ish, drops off from there. I'm fine with in game purchases for cosmetics and expansions, but the only reason developers use an in-game currency instead of straight payments for the product is because in-game currency can be used to manipulate the player into purchasing more than they otherwise would. ie the expansion you want is £6's worth of the in-game currency, you can only buy £8's worth, so now you have a wasted £2 that you also want to spend. So you purchase more currency to get a different expansion, etc. Dragonian Alliance, Tethys 13, Cretanja, Tiplomecja, and 2 othersCommunistic Anarchy and Nature, and Maadi
The Union of Astatima | Microtransactions are fine if it's purely cosmetic, but if it's pay to win then that's a major issue for me. Tethys 13, Cretanja, Tiplomecja, Gormhuth, and 2 othersCommunistic Anarchy and Nature, and Maadi
The Garden Rose of Jakuzure | I'm not familiar with games with them, but they seem like they can be abusive, particularly of younger audiences. Tethys 13, Cretanja, Tiplomecja, Gormhuth, and 2 othersCommunistic Anarchy and Nature, and TheKeyToJoy

The Divine Infinite Technocracy of Dragonian Alliance | I do not like them. Its barely passable if used for cosmetics, but the practices involved with it are too close to gambling targeted at younger audiences. Tethys 13, Cretanja, Tiplomecja, Gormhuth, and 1 otherCommunistic Anarchy and Nature
The Ancient Matriarchy of Arkadia Universalis | Like some other replies here, my feeling is that it should be cosmetics-only, and I would go further to say that it should be cosmetics that are unrelated to the narrative/gameplay content of the game. Like say a skin or outfit themed after a specific location or character should be earnable, paid cosmetics should focus on giving you options that expand the aesthetic options of the game. For me it would be Destiny 2 and it’s not even remotely close. I have almost 2000 hours into the game, and my next highest-played game probably doesn’t even break 700 hours. It’s by far my favorite game and while I think a lot of critiques of it are valid, I don’t see myself ever abandoning it. There’s no other game series I know of that feels like I’m basically playing a cinematic universe in game form. What I mean by that is that there are four seasons a year that function like television shows, with one large expansion per year that functions like a big movie.

Shuckle lord | hi tell me what is going on ? please :):) Cretanja and Gormhuth
The Garden Rose of Jakuzure | Depends on what you mean. You don't "use" them. They're just collectibles. You're going to have to be more specific with what you want to know. :P Hey. A lot is going on, like, all the time. Hope that helped. Cretanja and Gormhuth
Tiplomecja | I hate them, especially microtransactions that are expensive enough to buy another whole ass game Cretanja and Gormhuth
The Benevolent Glorius Queendom of Scorched Ice | Less of my opinion on them since I feel about the same, but a funny story of when I was little and didn't understand the concept of money instead. I spent I think around 3k total on in-app microtransactions in a couple app games over the course of like a week and yoinking my grandmother's credit card lmao. Thankfully my grandmother was able to get a refund after explaining the situation that her little demon made for her and of course I've since learned that money does in fact exist but yeah pretty wild. The Sovereign Orbital Vessel of Cretanja | I admittedly don't really have an opinion on this... in fact, before reading the responses to this QOTD, I didn't know what microtransactions were. I don't really play games, but from what I can understand ( from the responses ) - I'm against it. Games are supposed to be fun. I realize that everything is marketable now-a-days... but in my opinion, you shouldn't have to spend real-life-currency to advance in a game or dress your character in neat gear. And certainly not if you purchased the game itself! I would be pretty ticked off if I purchased a game and found out that I can't reach a certain level/mission/etc without spending even more money on the game. Are the things you can purchase on Minecraft a microtransaction? I mean, they don't effect your base game... but you can buy maps? Hmm. Greetings! How're you? :)
