“Testing your biological and chemical weapons on them was torturous. Your weapons are cruel and inflict pain and suffering on people.

“Aren’t all weapons? Like every country does, I was trying to find the ideal way to end the war quickly, besides, the so called ‘people’ of Mongolia bought it on themselves.”
"Some weapons are cruel but not all are. How did the mongolians bring it on themselves, you were the ones that started the war!" The judge then bangs his gavel. "I have heard enough! Mr. Jiro you are sentenced to 25 years in prison."
The guard sees this and as they are walking away he says to him, "You will not be smirking for long. You will be in prison for a long long time and it will not be easy for you." After they leave the prosecutor then turns to the remaining men. "Stand up and state how you plead to the charges against you."

Alija Halil stands, he brushes his hair to the side. Alija Halil: “Not guilty.” Akao Naosuke: “Not guilty, simply because I’ve been charged with genocide alongside the other things.” Kim Pak-Seung: “Not guilt, Xemtianjia prevails!” Asuka Ritsuko: “Guilty.” Joseph Malikov: “Not guilty.” A crying Zhakarovich walks up. Krasimir Zhakarovich: “G…guilty.”
The prosecutor turns to Ritsuko and Zhakarovich. "So you two plead guilty. Would you explain the reasons why?"

Ritsuko looks away for a second and looks at the others, she then looks at the judge. "The pretext for the war with Mongolia was a lie, it was all lies, Mongolia was innocent, me and comrade Vala built the lie to justify our war with them." Zhakarovich stares. "I sent to many people to their deaths in that war..."

M: "I'm afraid not, the DJD is following the script: A show of power, then a show of restraint, because power plus restraint equals control."
“I see and I understand your reasoning. Do either of you have any information that will help us in the cases of the others. Your cooperation will be rewarded.”

“I do not, I wasn’t included in a lot of internal policy decisions.”
He nods. “I see and I thank you for what you have already given. Because of your cooperation you will get a lesser sentence.” He turns to the judge. “I recommend Mr Zhakarovich be sentenced to 3 years in jail for his cooperation and Ms Ritsuko for 4 years.” The judge nods and hands out the sentences.
