Brigid hears someone yelling and wakes up. She realizes that it is coming from downstairs so she gets up and decides to check it out. She leaves the room and stands at the top of the stairs, hoping to see what is going on.
A young woman wearing a demon slayer uniform was stood, shielding a little girl. A young man, no older than 17, was stood there, he stepped forward. He wore a demon slayer, had a sword attached to his belt and had long hair. “Who do for think you are!? Hitting a little girl?! You don’t own this house! Now get o-“ the woman says, the man cuts her off. “She spoke back to me, a Hashira, now with that in mind, give me the key to the storeroom or I will take it.” The young man says blankly.
Brigid is angered by the way the man is speaking to her and rushes downstairs. "You heard her. You have no right to yell at her or hit her like that! Now leave."
He turns to Brigid. “Who are you? I’m a Hashira, so I expect those beneath me to follow orders, I want the storeroom key now. While we argue over trivial matters, people continue to die, that’s what it means to obstruct a Hashira in our duty.” The mist Hashira says, the woman takes a step back. “No, you could torture me and I still wouldn’t give the key to someone like you!” She shouts, the mist Hashira is silent for a moment. “Most people can’t deal with torture training, so you think someone like you stands a chance? You want to test it?” The mist Hashira asks.
“I am Brigid and I am helping with this demon problem that you have. But if you keep this sh*t up then I am going to have to reconsider.” She looks at him steely, “Now dont treat this young woman like this.”
“I don’t know who you are. I’m Muichiro Tokito, the mist Hashira.” He says, pausing and placing his hand on the hilt of his sword. “That child refused to give me the key to the storeroom, this woman just stood in the way, I only want the key. I’m a Hashira, I’ve achieved the highest rank in the demon slayer corps, and I won’t be spoken down to by someone like that.”
"I am Brigid like I said before. I am working with Shinobu and Tomioka and it is impressive what you have done but it is no reason to treat people like dirt. So I will say it again, leave and quit bothering this young woman."
Muichiro pauses for a moment. “Fine. I don’t even know what I wanted from the storeroom anyway.” He says, as he starts walking off. His eyes seem vacant, and his expression the whole conversation was deadpan.
