| Viktorias | Oh I see, then I'll do it: no, EU countries are not going to leave because that would be a disaster for those countries, I will show you 3 points in support of this statement: 1) "but UK left!" - yes, but people forget that it was done following the result of a referendum, also the meetings to accomplish Brexit lasted for 3 years to avoid an hard Brexit and keep all the pre-existing treaties. It was much much harder than people expected, and it's UK we're talking about, an international power, not certainly a small nation. 2) the UK had another advantage that the other EU countries don't have: they still have their currency, which is an huge factor to keep in mind for other EU countries, since leaving the EU but still having € as a currency means that the economy would still be influenced by EU and the European Central Bank decisions. 3) the points above are well known to politicians. Since one of the examples was Italy, here's a cool fact: in 2018 elections the government was formed by the two parties that literally had Italexit in their programs. Today, 3 years after, they support Mario Draghi, former ECB president, as Prime Minister. I believe that is enough to understand what huge gap separates electoral propaganda from real politics.
