The Royal Pigeon Republic of Elestansa is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by Anatolie Negutesco with a fair hand, and renowned for its teetotalling pirates, keen interest in outer space, and fear of technology. The compassionate, democratic, devout population of 1.061 billion Elesians love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Elestansa's national animal is the Pigeon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Pigeon Worshipping.
