hey do y'all think this is good? I wrote it for a fictional religious texts written by Stolas Goetia.
From the Manus Celes, verses 1-30, chapter one
"long ago, before the pits of hell had first been lit, before the gates to heaven had been opened for the first time, before the first sin, there was darkness. from the deep, growing darkness, spew forth many things, demons, love, desire, sentience, the will to live, the choice to be able to see what cannot be seen. but these beings all remained in the darkness. the first demon, Lucifer, crawled from the Abyss. lighting a small fire in his hands. from this flame, grew the first people in existence. followed by Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Mammon, Leviathan, and Belphegor all rose from the flames. the first humans stood in the dark, awaiting a light to let them see. a small ember flickered off of Lucifer, soon consuming the Abyss until it was all alight, Lucifer took the flame and condensed it into an orb. Lucifer named this ball "Sol" and hurled it high into the sky. the humans, devastated from the fear of the flames, cried. they cried so much it formed the first ocean. Lucifer saw the creation of a new world, and he aided in it. he decided to give these humans a leader, one of a demonic nature. from the cold abyss of the cosmos, Lucifer formed Stolas. Lucifer placed his creation upon the ocean, and watched as he formed land, mountains and islands. Lucifer was satisfied with what he had done, so he took his demons deeper into the Abyss to find a home for them, far away from the humans"
