Effective as of the refounding of this region on October 9th, 2023, I, by right of sovereign (re)foundership and as the protector of this region, assume the mantle of monarch of Gath under the title of "Emperor of the Gathians".

My objective will be to set out a constitution for this realm which defines the role of the monarch of Gath as an elected constitutional monarch so as to mitigate the tribulations which once surrounded the thrones of my predecessors as autocratic rulers of this realm. I wish to preserve the legacy of Gath's past, dating back to its founding in 2009 as a colony of Anzia (itself founded in 2009 and a branch of the Banian civilization beginning in 2006), but I also wish to lay the foundations for a new era for this long-dormant region which even moreso looks towards the possibilities of its future. In this, I hope to gradually take the first small steps to establish the foundation for a comfortable place in which a new generation of Gathians may take shape and chart the path of this region's future.

I offer this as my statement of intent and as a testament to both my contemporaries and to posterity of my hopes for this place.
