De Orianne Creates International Humanitarian Organizations.

Orianne has decided to announce the creation of the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross; French: Comité international de la Croix-Rouge); a humanitarian organization based in Geneva, Orianne. The Organization ensures humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and armed violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.

Although based in Orianne, as well as having a primarily french staff, the organization is completely neutral, and shall not side with any nation during a conflict. Wherever conflicts occur, the ICRC acts to preserve people’s lives and livelihoods. They meet their immediate material needs and seek to ensure that some common consequences of conflict – disease, injury, hunger, loss of income and exposure to the elements – do not jeopardize their survival or their future.

Nations wanting to join this Committee are more than welcome to. Orianne would also like to announce the creation of the World Food Programme (WFP; French: Programme Alimentaire Mondial). The organization implements projects focusing on nutrition while targeting mothers and children and malnutrition in developing countries; it focuses on hunger and food security. Alongside the ICRC, the Headquarters of the organization will be based in Geneva, Orianne; due to the city being largely protected by the Orian Army, as well as the neutral location for both organizations, and others.

In order to improve emergency planning and response, manage supply chains and logistics, promote social safety initiatives, and increase resilience to climate change, WFP provides technical assistance and development aid. The organization also plays a significant role in providing direct financial aid, medical supplies, and passenger services for aid personnel.

Finally, Orianne would like to announce the creation of the Aros Elyium International Children's Fund (AEICF), whose headquarters will be based in Geneva, Orianne. The Organization shall be responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Similar to the previous organizations, the organization is completely neutral during conflicts and has no opinions on other nations whatsoever.

AEICF's activities include providing immunizations and disease prevention, administering treatment for children and mothers with severe diseases, enhancing childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation, promoting education, and providing emergency relief in response to disasters. AEICF relies entirely on voluntary contributions from governments and private donors; with its current largest contribution being from the Orian Government. Other nations willing to contribute are more than welcome.
