There’s nothing wrong with being hetero/straight, but identifying as “straight but not with trans people” is saying that trans people aren’t actually the gender they are. There’s also nothing wrong with genital preference, but we don’t have sexualities based around whether people are white or black, so we shouldn’t have sexualities based solely around someone’s genitals. When you put it like that, I think it’s a little more obvious how kinda gross the whole idea is. (Unless you are someone who’s attraction is based on genitals… which is kinda gross ngl).

Thank you very much for saying all this so eloquently. I'm married but I'm kind grateful for the fact that I'm not generally sexually attracted to men. Since there seems to be a widespread idea amongst some cismen that calling them transphobic because they would refuse to date me or other transwomen is virtue signaling.
