The National League
With Kilkirean politics fracturing yet further under the weight of no sitting government, one formerly fringe faction gaining yet more traction in government is the so called "National League". A far-right movement focused on the establishment of an efficient, centralized, strong Republic has gained more traction of late as dissatisfaction with the traditional right-wing Christian Democratic party has grown amongst the conservative base. The League, which until recently was not even classified as a party within the Oireachtas, has seen explosive membership growth since the collapse of the Grand Coalition, although the movement had been slowly gaining momentum for years prior to the current crisis. Although not as dramatic of a collapse as the Progressive Labour Party just the week before, the growth of the League has to many been an obvious symptom of the weakening unity of the Kilkirean right, as more and more members of the Christian Dems leave for the National League.

As the government languishes, the nation polarizes between left and right evermore. Even traditionally unified parties such as the German Liberty Party are beginning to strain under the pressure of the partisan divide. Many believe now that either an unpopular government must form, or the very foundations of the nation may give.
