Only five days after the terrible attack on Zenevska, the Zennovian people yet again reel from tragedy; a Zenevska-born lawyer in Takowen province was brutally murdered. As of yet, there are no suspects, but many coastal communities have spoken loudly both online and on the streets of their distrust for easterners, with mass protests now being organised among the westerners against eastern violence. In retaliation, Takowener rights activist groups, primarily concerned with removing the anti-eastern sentiments in Zennovia, have announced their intention to boycott western-made goods and pressure local leaders to prevent resource shipments westward. Some suspect the killing may be linked to Zedan II's Zennovian United Front, as a recent address given by Zedan contains harsh language, such as: "Katov has destroyed the nation! The West has become its own empire within a kingdom, and there shall be a terrible response to this."

The nation is divided among east/west lines, and many wonder whether or not the question of civil war is one of if it will happen, but when it will happen. Nevertheless, the central government's response to further crises will dictate the future of the nation and the survival of stability among a people so bitterly divided against one another.

In other news, Zenevskan municipal leadership has declared its intention to greatly increase police funding, and to recruit at least a thousand additional officers for special forces roles in the face of rising crime rates citywide. Green energy also appears to be at the forefront of debate once more, as the continued resistance from the east now makes coal and oil unreliable resources within Zennovia for energy; several new wind-turbine farms may be on the horizon.
