To the protest of Avanthi corporations, the government of Avanthistan has outlawed advertising on public buildings and services, including state owned industry advertising. This move, however, is extremely popular among Avanthi people. Advertisements have also been cancelled on public television programing, except for advertising for new public programs and shows, which will be kept at a minimum.
