LC CFCOU#1
"Right to Amend"
Outline: To give citizens the right to propose minor edits and changes to an existing LarAssembly Resolution.
Reasoning:
Existing resolutions, while voted for originally, may contain outdated, unjust, poorly written and/or problematic content. Citizens should have the right to propose changes to those resolutions to ensure regional laws are at they're best and most fair state.
Hereby:
-A form of LarAssembly resolution shall be added, under the title of "Amendment", category of "Council", and of a code "LC AMCOU".
-The function of the Amendment shall be to make minor changes to an existing resolution in order to make it fairer; more accurate; reflect changing circumstances; any other changes seen fit by the proposer.
-All amended resolutions will contain a statement noting that the resolution has been since changed, providing a link to the original copy.
