Theres a few Legend books about Thrawn.
“Outbound Flight” is one, also “Survivor Quest”, “Heir to the Empire”, “Dark Force Rising”, “The Last Command”,...etc

The author Zahn (who created Thrawn) Also did much to make both Legend and New Canon Thrawn in all books to be as cohesive as possible. Some inconsistencies here and there but they should go along well enough.
