I associated with inversion of symbols that you want to symbolize the opposite, as when you invert a Christian cross and than it stands for anti-christ. Thus, maybe that's just me, but I wouldn't conclude that they are less offended when their flag is inverted.

Not really an hardcore feminist. Just one of the early people who was involved in women's education.
