I'm still alive and well! ^^ Got quite a bit of schoolwork to do, so I will be tending to that!

Ahh, it's all right. I have a quiz tomorrow, and an assignment due, so... I have to work on both quickly by tonight and tomorrow morning-afternoon.

Deep Learning is hurting me deeply, but it's one of those things where you appreciate and love the concept and the knowledge, but you absolutely got stuffed when it comes to homework or quizzes. :/

Does anyone here want to speculate what April Fools will be?

A better question might be how far in advance do you gain the advantage? I imagine it takes a lot of planning on the mods' part to pull it off...

Eh, not so much the mods, but the techies. We help brainstorm ideas, but actually making anything work falls to the techies. And there have been years where we've had several weeks notice, and years where we were every bit as blindsided as the rest of the players. (Suffice to say [v] got many an earful from the mods who had to clean up after the widespread panic caused by the "fake hacking" joke a few years back that we got surprised with.)

The distinction between staff roles in this game was not very clear for me before your explanation, thanks!
Do you consider Gen Sec a staff position?/ or is it just a joke? or something else?

Gotta get in that quarterly ceasing to exist and resurrecting an entire landmass.
