Prelude
Concerning the Wintreath Winter 2021 Riksraad elections, WARPP would like to officially congratulate The Fylkirate of Svipjoth for winning the Thane of Roleplay election, The Three Unified Kingdoms of Stigya for winning the Thane of Regional Affairs election, The Golden Empire of The Greenlandic North for winning the Thane of Embassies election, and The Rogue Nation of Khaos Batman for winning the Thane of Gaming election.
We would like to extend further congratulations among the members of WARPP for their democratic victories.
This document addresses the implementation of Svipjoth’s campaign, which was declared in their stand for election as:
“As Thane of Roleplay, I would seek to incorporate the Wintreath Allied Regional Protective Pact as an official regional government body, having it replace the RP Guild in function. WARPP has heavily improved both the quantity and quality of roleplaying in Wintreath, and in many ways, has already replaced the RP Guild. If I were to be elected and this notion passed, The Stigyan Triumvirate and I will reform WARPP to be a co-directorate, with myself as codirector in order to reflect my new leadership position for roleplaying. This initiative will be measured according to WARPP/RP Guild membership, participation, number of active roleplay forms, and roleplay activity in the NS RMB. For such a merger, if I were to be elected, I want to collaborate with the council in order to ensure that the transition is smooth. I also wish to cooperate with the department of regional affairs to make roleplay etiquette more enforceable.”
Internal and External Changes to WARPP
Co-Directorate Reform
Since the creation of WARPP, The Stigyan Triumvirate was the director. Since both The Stigyan Triumvirate and Svipjoth have earned governmental positions of equal, but different, powers, The Stigyan Triumvirate has willingly promoted Svipjoth from military deputy director to co-director, officially reforming WARPP’s leadership to be a co-directorate, lead equally by both nations.
For any actions to be taken by either party, they must earn the consent of the other. If a stalemate is had, the decision will be passed to the members of WARPP to vote upon.
In order to balance the ratio of directors to deputy directors, the number of deputy directors in WARPP will be increased from two to three.
The responsibilities and duties of co-director for both The Stigyan Triumvirate and Svipjoth will be unrelated to their positions as Thane of Regional Affairs and Thane of Roleplay, consecutively.
Official Roleplay Move to Wintreath Forums
In order to preserve the longevity of the WARPP-official roleplay, to distinct the roleplay from the casual nature of the NationStates RMB, to revitalize the Wintreath Forums website, and to have greater control over the quality of roleplays, all WARPP-official roleplay will be transitioned to the Wintreath Forums website.
The Roleplay Guild subforum will be recreated and each separate, official roleplay will be designated with its own thread. Michi and Svipjoth will both hold moderation privileges over this subforum.
Due to the self-preserving and self-organizing nature of these threads, the responsibility of manually logging all official roleplays by the WARPP scribe will no longer be necessary to maintain.
With all official roleplay moving to the Wintreath Forums Website, all members of WARPP and those that wish to be within the new RP guild must earn citizenship by joining the Wintreath Forums Website. This is in order to help filter through nations that are serious in participating in roleplaying.
Revitalization of Antiquated RP Guild
The RP Guild that was utilized previously for Wintreath but since abandoned will be revitalized into a new roleplay organization, further referred to as Rollspelskra.
Rollspelskra will have a charter created by a collaboration of the Thane of Roleplay, the Jarl of Culture, and the Monarch. This charter is a work in progress and will be published before any official roleplays begin.
Rollspelskra will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Creating, advertising, and promoting the continuance of monthly RPs that occur in the context of all of Wintreath.
Creating, advertising, and promoting the continuance of event-based and casual RPs.
Moderating all RPs for both RP etiquette and NationStates/Wintreath policies.
Keeping RPs confined to their appropriate locations and guiding misplaced RP posts.
Statement of Distinction
With all of these changes to be implemented and enforced, this document also establishes the separation of The Stigyan Triumvirate’s and Svipjoth’s positions as thanes and as directors of WARPP. In no way shall any person or collective body be discriminated against for their opposition to WARPP or any of its members from a roleplay perspective.
