 The Illegitimate government of Gjorka | Transportation Gjorka's High-Speed Rail Network has been degrading for years and is need of an upgrade. Public Transportation in the cities is excellent while in the rural it is lackluster. The Chairman announced today the first of a series of Transportation Reforms to help modernize Gjorka. Two new lighting speed rail lines would be built across the country to better connect business and trade. There are the Red Line and the Teal Line going in opposing directions. All lines would have 15 trains on each line going at a time. 9 trains are Passenger Trains, and the other 6 are cargo trains. There is the five-minute ride from Gjorka City to New Gjorka City, and then 30-minute ride to Xavian City. Finally, it leaves Xavian City for a 45-minute ride to Hokia. Then it finishes with an hour and 15-minute ride to Jroka. It takes one final 30-minute ride to Baltimore. Once you arrive in Baltimore you can continue on to Gjorka City for a 15-minute ride, or hop on a 5-minute train to Freeland City. The Project is expected to take two years, and have massive benefits on the economy. The plan passed unanimously with no votes to block from the Senate. Gjorka has two major international airports. Gjorka City Airport (GCA) located in Gjorka City is the largest airport in the country and the hub of Air Gjorka. Then next is Xavian National Airport (XNA) which is the major airport for foreign flights and Gjorka Air's second major hub. Most Major Gjorkan Cities have an airport, but only GCA and XNA have international fights. Freeland National Airport located in Baltimore has seasonal flights from Creeperopolis. Kingston Airport (KGA) located in Hokia has the largest solely National Airport, and Jroka Northern Airport (EYW) has a very small airport with flights mostly from Gjorka City and Baltimore. With this information, the Chairman introduced his second major reform. This reform would see adding two new terminals to GNA and adding three new terminals to XNA. It would also build an International Terminal in KGA, and work out deals with neighboring countries to have more flights to there. Finally, EYW will be closed in favor of the new high-speed rail system being built. The Project should be finished in roughly three years as priority is given to the high-speed rail system. The Plan was approved unanimously and the Senate had no votes to block. In a secret meeting of the National Assembly a 15% tax increase from 10% to 25% was agreed upon unanimously. As well as funding to the Northern District would be halved expect for Representative Pay. This is the first secret meeting of the National Assembly in nearly 50 years, and the Chairman indicated it would not be the last.
