It’s almost May. The pandemic rages in India and Brazil. In Spain there have been vaccinations - that’s going well - but there are still few tourists in the Canary Islands.

It’s July. Canada Day. Anyone here from Canada? Apparently it’s twice as hot in British Columbia (47C) as it is in the Canary Islands. That doesn’t make any sense.

Saludos desde Tenerife. There are still hardly any tourists. Most people here have been vaccinated and everyone wears a mask. Will life ever be as before? It is summer. Here’s to happy days.

Haven't been! Maybe one day. Here in the UK things are sort of getting back to normal.
