Either way is fine. Shall we say DR to Depkazia, Haiti to Galanor?

My preference would probably be either for a very recent (1980s to... yesterday) or maybe early 20th century invasion. Probably a more recent one is better for me, but open to thoughts. Either way, you can crush the Sultanate's obsolete navy and make a landing, but presumably the land war turns out to be tougher than expected, and initial plans to take the whole island are abandoned. Maybe if we say that the western part had more Hispanic people and recent settlers from Galanor, and not as many lived in the east, it makes an acceptable partial victory for you? The Muslim majority in the east may not be happy with the Sultanate, but when the chips are down, they prefer it to foreign rule, and actuallycome out to fight. In the west, some Christian units may mutiny. Start of all the trouble the Sultanate is now having with Chingiz rebelling in Teksac.

No matter where Chingiz's land lie, no matter how great the distance or remote the terrain, he will always face his Shieldian foes. Just don't aim your anger too far past Puerto Rico. The USVI are Chrinthani. No harm shall come to those islands or the hippo gets it, capisce? :P

The hippo is unafraid. And quite a strong swimmer. As anyone who doesn't want to be woken by a hippo at the foot of their bed should remember. Hippo's flickering tail is ready to spread your president over a wide radius at... a few hours notice, depending on their fiber content.

Either of those two options work; I'd imagine that the United Realms Navy would have a fairly sizeable squadron stationed at Gunatnamo Bay (Galanorian name pending), with a hostile Hispaniola, and from a geostrategic perspective would jump at the opportunity to secure the Windward Passage.

Yes, that makes sense for a partial victory for the UR; and OOCly gives much more options for fun than a full Galanorian victory over Hispaniola.

I like that AMW is bookended in, "most extreme" by Dra-pol at one end, and WoS at the other. Exactly as it should be.
