| The thaindom of the shire | Some Suggestions, Points, and Notices I have decided to post: - The Language Commissioner role is still open. I get it’s not the most amazing role, but it’s a good gateway role to more senior gov position’s, and we need someone to fill it. Honestly, give it a shot if your interested in not only languages, but also Government and leadership. - Join the Community Church! It’s not super active, I will admit, but all you gotta do is TG the President with your denomination and a request to join. Gives you something to be part of. - Do the Introduction to Law course. Teaches you so much about Law. - Do a diploma or degree from the School of Theology. I’m doing a Bachelor. Teaches you a lot. - Register for the Bar Association. You get to have membership, which is neat. Once we get four members, we will also hold elections for the President and Vice-President roles, and we will elect people to sit on the Disciplinary Board. This is your best way, in my opinion, to get involved in the region. It’s from the Bar Association that I will select Public Prosecutor’s and Defender’s to serve when needed, and the President, VP and Disciplinary Board roles are a great way to foster a better understanding of the legal system. | |

| The presbyterian church | Hi, I know that I’m still very new to this community so I feel a little silly for asking for prayers. But I’m starting to lose hope with my goal to quit cigarettes by the end of the summer. I’ve tried nicotine gum, switching to vapes, tapering, cold turkey, prescriptions, you name it. I’ve smoked for five years now, and I’m worried that I’m reaching the point of no return. I’ve seen my older relatives die miserable deaths because of smoking-related illnesses, and I wouldn’t want to make my friends and family see me like that in the future. Please pray for me, I have no idea what to do at this point except turning to God. | |
