And here is a list of some main/well-known entry-level positions you can get in the region if any of them seem appealing to you. I'll give a summary of what they do and link who you can contact if you're interested or have questions.
The region's defender-aligned military. We function out of The Apeirogon on our Discord server, and we have an active presence on Libcord, a major nexus point for defender and independent militaries on NationStates. This job takes commitment and practice for you to be good at it, but it is rewarding, active, and you get to meet new people from NS during our operations. You'd also get to train with some of the most seasoned defenders on the site.
This organization employs a small staff of diplomats that represent us to many regions on the site and works closely with the Consulate to represent the region. We have official diplomatic relations with several game-created-regions and many user-created-regions on the site, and this department is always welcoming new ambassadors to serve.
Our region newspaper that publishes bi-weekly (or weekly, if it's a busy news cycle) editions about LCN affairs and inter-regional affairs relating to the LCN.
That'd probably be a good fit, the LCNAF is really fun but you need to be online at midnight and it takes practice, so starting with the Dept. of Foreign Affairs is probably a safer bet for your first job. You will need to become a citizen first, though.
Just be respectful to newer people. If they refuse to understand the regional culture and then ragequit, sure, make fun of it, but don't mock newcomers as they arrive, please.
