To vote, quote this post and clearly state your vote (In Favor, In Opposition, Abstaining), and have it be followed by a statement on why your delegation has chosen to vote in that manner (it can be brief or extensive, but include a statement). Debate between delegations is welcomed. The vote will be opened until a majority is reached, or until a time of 24 hours has passed since its opening.
Given that this a Security Council Resolution, it requires a simple majority to pass (without counting abstentions), but can be vetoed by a member of the Big Three.
We vote In Favor. Need we remind the people of this body of nations that this organization itself was formed in response to the senseless genocide in Creeperopolis many years ago. In a matter of moments, one thousand lives were snuffed out in Morova. This resolution is not meant to be permanent, but it is meant to be a clear message. Due to the fact that Morova (The constitutional republic of zion) has not conducted nor released a proper investigation on the matter, we are unsure who holds responsibility for the attacks, but the fact remains that they were not effectively handled. The fact remains Morova is at a tipping point. And the fact remains that this Security Council cannot stand idly by after one thousand civilians were killed in one of the largest scale attacks we have seen in recent history. For the time being, this message is clear, and must be sent to the Morovan government from the international community, thank you.
-The Quebecshirite Delegation to the Terraconserva Council of Nations
We abstain from the proceeding vote as we have too little information collected about the aforementioned situation to make a well informed and moral choice.
-The Malgan delegation of the Terraconserva council of nations
The Creeperian TCNSC delegation votes in favor of the bill due to 1.) the unfolding scenario may very well turn into a total war and may result in some ethnic cleansing like the Creeperian Genocide from 1933-1949 2.) the already sour relations between Morova and Creeperopolis (the Morovan who violated Title II Chapter I Section I Article II) 3.) the attacks in Morova seem similar to the 2019 San Salvador Attacks which happened a little under two months ago in Creeperopolis 4.) we stand with our Quebecshirite allies in voting for this bill.
Caezar, Protocol rendezvous, Quebecshire, and Malgax
Shibeland's delegation to the TCN decides to vote in favor of the bill, noting the points in the resolution, including attacks and denial of supplies, and fearing what may happen in the future.
"The Delegation of the Republic of Lyoa will be voting in favor of this resolution. Lyoa recognizes the Morovan government's unwillingness to serve its people and provide security to its lands. Suspicious circumstances regarding a purported terrorist attack have also raised eyebrows in the Lyoan Delegation, and Morova's unwillingness to investigate or to provide any details about this occurrence is suspicious indeed. We therefore will be voting in favor of this resolution to condemn Morova."
The Gjorkan Vote on the resolution sponsored by the Serene State of Quebecshire is abstain. The Moroccan conflict is one that should be resolved by the the Morovan people, and the Federation of Gjorka does not seek to involve itself in it by declaring support or opposition to this resolution.
Forgive my interjection, Delegates, but is that not the same attitude that allowed millions of Creeperans to die? The fact remains that yes, on a core level this issue should be resolved within Morova. Nonetheless, that should not prevent the international community from sending a clear message in favor of proper investigation, and against the deaths of hundreds to thousands of innocent people. There is a need to bring awareness to this issue.
The Hartridgeain Delegation votes in favor of the resolution sponsored by the State of Quebecshire. The Morovan Conflict has proved itself to a unsupportive conflict on both sides. Both sides in this conflict should be hd accountablefor their actions.
TCN Headquarters, Bostonia "We vote in favor of this resolution. The events that have taken place during the conflict are, to say it lightly, appalling. As the Quebecshirite delegation stated, this very organization was made due to the Creeperan genocide and we cannot allow history to repeat itself. That will be all, thank you."
