The Pristine Community of A Perfect Neighborhood

Development

As the terraforming and house-planting efforts in already-colonized planets intensifies, The Neighborhood has begun the groundwork for laying massive industrial facilities on certain uninhabitable planets and moons (bodies in the system that are not counted for P and M because they have no permanent population). The majority of these facilities comprise mining, manufacturing, and shipbuilding yards. Expanding industrial capacity means exponentially growing productivity output. The simulation must not only survive, it must thrive enough to propagate.

Development increases 0.1 to a total of 1.

2,000 Alluring-class light frigates (FL 1.5) are raised to bolster the fleet's patrol capabilities to ensure no wild variants enter the experiment.

The Republic Envoy began to sweat again. But he would answer truthfully.

“No. They were brought to submission. We brought to justice their leaders, judging them under our law, and took tribute from their member states accordingly. But we did not destroy them. It was only their government and leadership we sought to destroy, not their common folk.”

“And once all was done, we left them in peace. Although they would not be fortunate in the years to come; they tore themselves apart through infighting.”

"Good. Your 'Republic' is not so wasteful and malevolent as my father's Imperium. Hundreds of thousands of species were ground to dust during the Great Crusade; no xenos species could be permitted to exist in his ideal galaxy. I took issue with this, and gathered my sons and minds of cooperative ideals, diverting my Legion and its attendant forces away from the Crusade to settle here, upon Bastion, and began the process of creating a gleaming jewel of civilization, to disprove his notion that all aliens are warmongering slavers."

Expansion II

After terraforming a hundred worlds and adding half a trillion replicae into the populace, the need for foodstuffs has skyrocketed drastically - and so explorator fleets set off to find new agri-worlds, or to terraform new worlds into endless expanses of crops.

The Velrokinate of Kinmoon

Expansion 2

Several groups across Kinmoon are hired to clean up the west, including the Poko Araka and Karehame. Kinmoon would send out a large portion of their fleet, hoping to take down the last remnants of warlordism and other such nonsense which has allowed itself to propagate in most looked over locations of Kinmoon. The Poko Araka and Karehame got to work, immediately disabling leadership of the many disjointed militarist factions and other warlords.

The Karehame would commit mass "resettlement", code word for kidnapping, upon many of the leaderless anarchist polities, keeping them to themselves for later. The fleet of Kinmoon would arrive, with groups of colony ships, and they immediately got to work in settling their new planets and moons, while the fleet helped mop up whatever remnants were left of the many factions. The Poko Araka would provide much of their upgraded technology to the government, and would assist in ground combat alongside the Sythan military, helping take down any hideouts and ground forces, paving a way for the new settlers.

Once all was done, the planets were captured, and of course divided up for different uses, ranging from agricultural, resort worlds, industrial, or purely for military use. Many ship yards were constructed within orbit of these worlds, using technology provided by both the Poko Araka and Fabulon Aurlandos. The Poko Araka would also provide their vast stores of treasures and coin to the production of new defensive systems within the west, which was largely regarded as the least defended in Kinmoon. The upgraded defense systems would make use of advanced sensor technology, space-mines, and impressive point defense systems and platforms, which utilized ship based and advanced ground and atmosphere based weaponry. It didn't just stop in the west though... the massive resource stores were cracked open, and would be directed towards the construction of planetary shielding for the newer worlds, and upgraded shielding for the older ones, especially the core worlds and other areas of such importance. New gate systems were created as well, helping connect the west to the core worlds.

When all was done, the Poko Araka and Karehame were granted their own planets and moons for use in keeping peace, with those in the north west going to the Poko Araka, and those along the south west and middle south being granted to the Karehame. The resources gathered by the planetary mining would also be granted to them, so they could begin building up new shipyards and defense systems for themselves as well, all connected to Quilla, of course. But it would be noted that the Karehame would soon have a special task ahead of themselves, within the core... and not Kinmoon's core... but the core of the galaxy.

The Heliarchy - Colonization I
Colony ships escorted with military fleets arrive at uncharted worlds, touching down and bulging outwards with pre-fabricated buildings. Construction vehicles and drones release themselves from inside and outside of the vessels, setting up the pre-planned and Supercomputer-calculated foundations for Ryk civilization. Ryks huddle in eager preparation. Then, they too are released to begin work and inhabitance. The planets colonized are claimed for the Heliarchy.

The first phase of this colonization period has claimed 50 Planets and 50 Moons.

Skull probes delve deep into the ruins, scanning every nook and cranny with every tool available - no stone will be left unturned. Skitarii and their war-mounts take guard positions outside the structure, with a handful littered throughout the interior. Soon enough, Ateia and Vherrent-Gamma-4 descend to the surface themselves - perhaps her Force powers will allow her to sense something that the servo-skulls miss during the search.

down inside, they'd find a dark, empty chamber, containing only an unmarked book, and a sheathed sword with a simple white hilt. This seems to be what's calling to Atiea.

Working together, the diminutive probes lift the book and sword out of the chamber, bringing them to Ateia. The young woman grasps the blade, while Gamma-4 eagerly peruses the book's contents.

Allen would finally begin to make somewhat of a recovery. He struggled severely to adapt to his much lighter, smaller body, having been much taller and bulkier beforehand. The most obvious and mentally-cripping change was to his reproductive system. It threatened to send him into a spiraling depression, and fought against the artificial and natural dopamine pumped into his system to try and keep it at bay.

At the very least, he was eating, drinking, walking, and talking. The thought of being able to go and see his wife and kids again was one of the very few things keeping him sane. And he would get his chance.

Meanwhile, on Viskova, the situation finally reached the ears of Saharian Central Command. Already fed-up dealing with domestic issues and threats, the Legion transforming a Republic citizen-soldier was something that CentCom had been fearing ever since the military base was established on Legion soil. And here it was - yet another posthuman threat realized, and made to be truth.

Lieutenant Price, one of Central Command’s most trusted frontline officials, would be dispatched to the Arboreal Legion to uncover the situation. A dark three-winged shuttle, all in black, sailed down into the thick canopies just beyond the Republic’s military base, coming to land swiftly. Their approach was likely cleared well before they even entered orbit.

Out of the shuttle stepped a single man in a white uniform, flanked by two Republic soldiers in black armor…

The head doctor of the hospital, Willow, walked onto the roof accompanied by Cherri. Cherry had mostly been healed, but still had a few bandages on her jaw and looked incredibly afraid, standing mostly behind Willow who looked fairly confident. Her lab coat covered a sky-blue kimono, and the hilt of a sword was just visible over her back.

"Welcome, sir. I assume you're here to speak to the patient, or collect testimony?"

“In a manner of speaking, yes,” he replied. His thick, posh accent was stereotypical even for a Saharian.

“I represent the interests of the Saharian Republic in this matter. I am simply here to investigate and determine what has happened, so that we can decide how to best handle the situation…”

He looked at Cherri over Willow’s shoulder, and gestured towards her. “Is… she alright?”

His accent made it hard to tell if he was actually concerned or not. The two guards behind him hadn't moved an inch.

Confused as to the vision, she speaks with Gamma-4 - he has no answers, but suggest she ask the 'holocrons' she had gained from the temple they had first visited. The tech-priest then sends the book up to the destroyer itself, so the rest of the Mechanicus contingent can begin translating; the ship's powerful cogitators should prove sufficient.
