Welcome to The Galactics Union, traveler!
Disclaimer: We do not apologize for the previous Founder's typo.

Humanity's great empire has died, and with it, the Earth and the Sol System is naught but the ashes of a nova. Alien empires and strange eddies scour the void, marking their new domains and feeding upon the corpse of Human achievement. With the last of Earth and the Universal Empire's memory having died, a new age has spawned, one in which all fates and their journeys remain wholly uncertain.

The Heliarchy of Rykil

The Heliarchy - Colonization V
Colony ships escorted with military fleets arrive at uncharted worlds, touching down and bulging outwards with pre-fabricated buildings. Construction vehicles and drones release themselves from inside and outside of the vessels, setting up the pre-planned and Supercomputer-calculated foundations for Ryk civilization. Ryks huddle in eager preparation. Then, they too are released to begin work and inhabitance. The planets colonized are claimed for the Heliarchy.

The fifth and final phase of this colonization period has claimed 50 Planets and 50 Moons.

War of the (Ring)Worlds - Viskova, Saharian Republic
New Saharia

It was a quiet afternoon on Viskova, but as fate would have it, it wouldn't seem to stay that way for long. Over the next few minutes, the sound and rumble of some foreign object flaks up against and imbedded into the ringworld's hull. A meteor, likely. Odd mix of dust wafting from the reported crash site. A glittery mix of yellow, cyan, and magenta sparkles and permeates the nearby air. Whatever is over there lying in wait...

"Oh, I see! Not enough hands! Well, I do have lascannons and torpedoes for sale - there's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a gleaming scarlet bolt rush through the vacuum of space to crash down into a moon, immolating the impact site, or hopping in a boarding torpedo to bring the fight directly to an enemy!"

The Captain thought for a moment then said "Well then our ship designs do not have much need of boarding torpedos as we have our method of boarding is well prepared all be it more limited and would not risk one of us getting shot before arrival and to change out to boarding torpedos would require a heavy redesign of a ship or a design of a new ship entirely. As our weaponry we prefer using is more based on lasers and railguns. However, the concept of a cluster type of torpedo or a torpedo based upon creating minefields would be of greater use and would warrant the expenditure in designing a ship that would work with that type of weaponry. As for the lascannons I assume they are more closer to mac cannons in terms of shere size and power rather then something that can be equipped on smaller ships?"

"Mind if I smoke while we talk?"

Sweet Tooth smiled "Well you can in this room just I would need to do a re filter of the air for the room after and go to medical after the meeting as a percussion. We do however, have smokeless cigarettes only down side with them is they also would make you hungry as well purified to take out all those nasty cancer causing parts of the tobacco in it. However if you want a blunt or a bong I can get you one they don't cause nearly as much clean up."

After another short journey, they would finally arrive at the ship’s core. The first thing the Corporal would notice would be how… small and quiet it was. The room itself was ring-shaped, with the inner wall being mostly of glass divided by metal paneling with consoles and diagnostics stations. It was incredibly quiet here, with only faint conversations between the engineers and the hum of the reactor itself.

A tiny speck of white light floating in mid-air, ominously hovering inside a chamber whose inner walls were lined with a reflective-purple alloy of some kind.

This chamber demanded an atmosphere of respect. For three-thousand years, Humanity had mastered the art of solar fusion. The spherical chamber itself was no wider than eight meters, yet provided a near-endless source of energy for a ship eight-hundred meters long.

“Solar Ionization - the power of the stars themselves at our fingertips. That white speck - that’s a star. Held together by high-emission lasers and containment fields. No bigger than the tip of a pen. And yet it’s more energy than our ship has ever needed…”

The Captain shifted over to a control panel, pressing a few buttons. The glass itself seemed to react, dimming the inside of the chamber so it could be seen better…

A swirling miasma of colors, like solar winds, filled the inside. Like tendrils they extended from the tiny sun, swaying as if caught in a warm summer breeze.

“Incredible, isn’t it?”

Corporal Shadow followed paying attention then when he pointed out what that thing is she looked in awe "By Faust. I just wow thank goodness I was not an engineer. I umm how is that possible? Like i get how you hold it in place but how do you get that a star like that? Also aren't you concerned about how dense that must be the shear risk of if the ship is destroyed alongside the reactor wouldn't that risk the formation of a black hole?"

Cyberfoxx, biosynthetic robots with advanced AI and built-in cybernetics. Can put up fight better than any normal guard and once you connect them to the surveillance system, well they'll have eyes and ears all over. If you're interested in obtaining them 'legally', well no better place to start than sealing a deal with a VIXXEN provider."

The fox then picks up a bottle of top-shelf bourbon from behind, pouring it into the glass before putting a small napkin beneath it.
"But if you're looking for a... 'off the books' transaction, it's going to cost you another 'drink' to clear up my memory."

The Czagari tilted her head to fully face the bartender, before asking with a glint of interest in her otherwise hollow voice, "I am new to this so forgive my ignorance, but the difference between legally and illegally obtaining these sentinels, beyond cost, is....?"

The Community of A Perfect Neighborhood

Expansion 3 - August

Planet after planet would have had its defenses obliterated. Many had sentient life, but were otherwise too primitive to effectively fight back against the terror that lingered above. Those with access to missiles did manage to down several of the boarding civilian ships, but a double-down on orbital bombardment quickly shattered the resolve of the defenders. The fleets of the Neighborhood fought through the few fleets which sat around, knowing well that their losses would be compensated in a short period of time. It was this confidence that broke the defensive lines of system after system, resigning this part of the galaxy to its fate.

The house-planters and terraformers get to work. The mites rain. The survivors only have a few years left.

Development

The Neighborhood's newly acquired planets had just begun the process of occupation and transformation. Therefore, in order to make the most out of this time of infancy, the building of each planet's industrial foundations begins. It is this construction that will be a launchpoint for further transformation later down the line. The first neighbors touch down and are quickly set to work!

The fox gave her a mischievous grin, flicking his right ear playfully. "Well wouldn't you like to know. It's quite a simple answer: papertrail. Sure, buying straight from VIXXEN is a perfectly acceptable option but galactic politics often gets in the way for 'personal consumption' of their merchandise. It's like buying a gun and then committing a crime - you don't want to leave any papers or footsteps leading back to you... or us."

The bartender then greeted another customer at the bar. Getting them situated with a drink before whispering in his ear with a pat on the shoulder and returning to the woman. Leaning in once more to talk. "Take for example, those Saharians over there," he says while nodding towards the direction of the delegation, "real thorny fellas they are. They find out someone's been hitting them and they'll be sniffing all over you. Once they figure you're using VIXXEN goods, they'll be forced to play ball and lock down your merchandise you paid for. However, you pay via our black market friends and they'll make sure finding out who or what bought anything will be drowned in a see of shell companies, third-party resellers, and missing numbers. You understand what I'm putting down? Absolute autonomy from sniffing rats."
