When I came up with my nation's name I was only trying to synthesize a syllable chain that sounded cool, and "Zitherstadt" just happened to be this particular syllable chain.

There's also a funny story about the "Zither" in my current name: Years ago I thought that "zither" was the the German word for zero, and I somehow managed to convince myself that it rooted from the Arab word for the same number "sifr" since it was also the origin of "cipher" (which made me go like: there's no way that this word can't make it into another Germanic language!). It was only months later when I was doing research for the etymology section of my main factbook that I realized my blunder.

Originally I just pulled it out of my ass because I needed a plausibly European-sounding country name for a fictional worldbuilding project. It kind of grew on me.

Honestly, not we entirely sure. Think I was just thinking about making something that sounded like freedom on some level. Also was thinking of tropical islands. Nice mix, but I honestly think my nation's name suffered from me being as high as I was.

Does anyone know if the influence stat is gone? I know that the backup isn't super up to date but I can't find the stat in my ranks section

Influence and WA endorsements aren't in the stat thing, I think

Two things:
A) I have a liking with names that have an x, y, z, and/or th
B) I wanted my country to be the model of democracy so I thought of Athens, Greece

I combined those aspects and got this name
