There is no huge benefit I'm getting from an alliance with them other than the fact that I'd align myself with a competent government and reasonable people. An alliance proper with you at this point would be completely devoid of any benefits. You've shown countless times that you're an untrustworthy nation with goals that simply do not align with mine.
