India is facing a few major problems. In my view, the most pressing problem is that a few nations are much more active that others, and in turn get a vast majority of ministerial, and parliamentary positions, creating a lack of engagement for other nations. Previous cabinets have tried to resolve this and have had varying degrees of success. While I appreciate this, my solution to this is to vastly expand my cabinet. New posts will include Minister of Defense, Finance, Statistics and more. Furthermore, I will expand parliament to 25 seats, giving more nations the opportunity to contribute to the region of India. To further improve the engagement of nations, I will create more RP events.
The main problems are Activity and WA Membership. I really appreciate the campaign done by others. The WA problem isn't easy to be solved. I don't understand why we need many Cabinet posts. There is a limit for sharing power in NS. So, most of them are useless posts too
In the past as well such strategy was used, but then both the activity of admin nations as well as non-admin nations was less. What is your opinion on this?
That could have been just be a coincidence. But this time, with more fun roleplay events (cricket tournaments etc) , more nations will enjoy NationStates, and engagement will be higher. This time, I will also take in feedback from the nations of India, and see what they want to do. After all, the whole point of becoming a WAD is to serve the best interests of the nations of India. It is my belief that making NS a more fun game with more fun RP will make nations more engaged.
The lack of an independent roleplay up till now and a Parliament are major problems we face today. We have over a 100 nations now, and it's time we focused more on quality over quantity. Let me get this straight: How often do you see activity on regular days compared to when we have elections now? The point is, we have made very little progress in these 2 things - a Parliament and our regional roleplay. The only way in engaging more nations is to go down either of the two routes, or grow both of them at the same time, and that's what I promise to do as the WAD. After efforts by me, Indusse, Kilthanpur (Eraman) and South Kerala, we finally managed to prepare a basic foundation for our rp, which we shall be unveiling soon after the elections. As for the regional Parliament, I have plans on how we should proceed with it which I shall be releasing soon enough.

I feel all candidates have an equal chance of winning, and will give a tough fight. Indusse, as the PM and former WAD will of course give a tough fight
Southfield is a fairly large region. I think Southfield has unfairly used the AoR in the past, but should I become WAD, I will try arrange a few interregional events with them, to our mutual benefit. They have treated India with respect, and for the foreseeable future I hope ties between India and Southfield will remain strong.
India, in my view, should have many more embassies. I will construct embassies with many more regions, and host/participate in more interregional events. In my embassy policy, and region with at least 8 nations and a WAD can have an embassy with us (exception for certain regions eg The Embassy).
I am of the opinion that while on one hand we focus on increasing our international representation, India should also go forward in providing a helping hand.
I am of the view that we should continue our current policy of establishing embassies while getting involved in more inter-regional programs such as Global Roleplays , Events such as Night Light and more.
The international interaction will also help us gain popularity and eventually grow as in increasing the no. of nations joining us
We should make them more engaging by Role-playing here in Nationstates only rather than third party apps such as discord. Yeah, Discord should be there but for more engagement , NS is the best platform. Also making engagement more interesting by including a variety of things so that we hit the interest point of Maximum no. of citizens
I deduced one thing quite clearly that because of nations not taking interest in our engagements, they loose the spark to come over and visit their nation leading to more Non-existing nations.(CTEs, I mean)
