I hate the level of even having the Conference League, and we’ve not played European football in a good 20 years.
The qualifier goes to the winner of the Carabao Cup—which will always be a top 4 team, not a Championship or League 1 team, giving it to 7th place after 6th gets the Europa League.
It was designed for teams in lower divisions but it’ll never work like that.

UEFA has consistently let down the vast majority of clubs in favour of clubs that are inefficiently run, and in the end will always go bankrupt, as we are seeing with Barcelona currently.
