Twelfth region: Callista

Rating: 9/10

Time: 8 Days.

A region with, as far as I can tell, a serious (but still somehow casual) roleplay and very casual community. The region is large, active, and relaxing (though sometimes too active, though that’s my personal preference). The dispatches for government-related activities are semi-realistic in their length, meaning that I have no desire to read any of them, but I know that quite a lot of people on this site are really into that type of writing and the such (to each their own). This region would be good for newcomers that are ready to put at least an hour into the game a day to get the full experience of the region, though those less-active will still enjoy this region and it’s community.

Going deeper into the roleplay aspects of the region, I have found that it is active (if you are not active in the roleplay you may be removed from it, though I’m pretty sure if you come back you may get your roleplay nation back) and many of those involved give very long & detailed posts that may be intimidating to those new to this type of roleplay (this is the reason I suggested being online for at least an hour; backreading roleplay & conversational posts is time consuming on some days), though I’m quite certain that they would be welcoming of shorter posts (so long as they follow the rules). The roleplay itself seems to be quite realistic, but those involved do not take it, for lack of a better word, seriously. While they all take part in the realism, they are also quite humorous.

Eleventh region: Kelios

Rating: 5.71/10

Time: 10 days.

While the region is slightly inactive for my tastes, it makes up for it with its ties to other regions! Even when the region itself is inactive you are able to pop into an embassy - most noticeably The Obsidian Highlands (which I may hop into later!) - and have a chat with the people inside! From what I could tell there is no active roleplay currently happening, and I feel that this would be good for new nations seeking slower-moving regions, with a deliberate approach to things.

(Note: First region visited after the break I took around December 2023.)

Tenth region: One Collective Brain Cell (recommended by: Duckies land).

Rating: 6/10

Time: 9 days.

Although my time was under 10 days, I have learned that this region is friendly, welcoming, and the founder is active. I was asked if I would like to assist in collecting embassies, but since I'm roaming with this nation, I declined - maybe if you are active in the region you might be able to help them out. New nations are welcome here, although I don't feel like it would be the best to learn all you can do in NS.
the founder is quite nice, and sometimes people from embassies stop by and start a chat, so the region has a pretty diverse RMB compared to others.
Very relaxed in nature, so if you have an alt you don't quite know what to do with, you could probably send it in and talk with people on the RMB. Another good region to pop an alt in and chat would be The Embassy, although it's a more active.
Ninth region: RGBN (recommended by: Hfluufffuufffuufff).

Rating: 9/10

Time: 20 days.

RGBN, with years of experience in running a community and region, are both welcoming, comical, interesting, and all-around amazing people.
The RP, while being open to anyone, seems to be complicated at first, but if you were to immerse yourselves in it I am sure you would be able to understand everything going on. I would highly suggest joining their Discord server (which you can find on their WFE), as it's a lot more relaxed and you can talk to people on a more equal level than here on NS.
Would this region be for newcomers? If you are a good communicator, then I feel that this region would be great for a new adventurer. And at the same time, there is enough going on for people who have played for years to be entertained for a few weeks at least, but probably much longer than that.
This really seems like a region I would pop a puppet in and then spiral down the hole into it becoming a main nation I use this site for.
Eighth region: The Forbidden West.

Rating: 4.5/10

Time: 17 days.

Chill region with a tight-knit small community. They are friendly and welcoming, although a bit loud.
The discord server is pretty inactive, but when people do send messages it's a fun time.
Not much regional politics, so it's really just a place to talk to new people and maybe make a few friends.
Seventh region: Holy Utopian Empire (recommended by: The magical one).

Rating: 6/10

Time: 8 days.

Active region and friendly nations make this region a prime place for you to hang out and make new friends. The region is quite new, and I think a few of them don’t really know how NS works, but that just makes it more of a unique experience.
Overall, they should probably work a bit more on their government structure, but their community is amazing.
Sixth region: Wow How Many Words Can I Fit Into This R.

Rating: 4.5/10

Time: 2 months

I joined the region, said that somebody had called them rude once (along with calling them dedicated [sup](you can find the post here)), and was promptly banned.
After a brief talk with the founder, I was unbanned, and they became very understanding.
I would suggest this region to inactive players, as not much happened.
Fifth region: Ice Shards.

Rating: 5/10

Time: 1 month

Honestly? Great region. Small community of friends that welcomed me with semi-open arms (truth be told they did run a poll to kick me).
They aren't serious, are (sometimes) funny, and are (moderately) active.
I would recommend it if you want a few laughs and maybe a few new friends.
Fourth region: The League.

Rating: 4.2/10

Time: 1 or 2 months

When I first joined the region I was a bit bombarded by the natives telling me to join the WA or be struck down, or banned. I just told them I was an alt and showed my main, and that was enough to get them off my back. I received what felt like daily TGs to join the WA for the "protection of the league". A very chill, very nice region, but a bit heavy on the "JOIN THE WA AND ENDORSE DELEGATE OR WE WILL ALL BE BANNED!!!1!!1" part of being a larger region.
Third region: Jewish Autonomous Oblast.

Rating: 4/10

Time: 1 month

Not much happened in my month-long stay. Pretty boring. Very cool people, although I wouldn't recommend them to new people.
Second region: EmbassyRegi0nia.

Rating: Not available

Time: 2 days

A very chill region dedicated to collecting embassies. Not much happened in my 2-day stay.
First region on this account: UN United Nations.

Rating: 1.6/10

Time: Around 3 months

A very simple region with a semi-democratic ruling. While the people still vote, the founder is still in complete control and has unpinned updated versions of his bulletins. Was really inactive for a bit while I was in this region, but still, not much happened.
