The Constitutional Empire of Manuelian Empire | lol i know
Hobbubobbia | No, I'm a native speaker. Your post used commas instead of periods, which turned what should probably have been a paragraph into a single long sentence. that kind of sentence structure can be confusing if you don't read especially carefully, which I didn't I dunno, but the feds would probably know if somebody did. :p
The Republic of Namapia | I read about these cities and i can say that a lot of them have justifications for crime other than not being able to purchase guns. Like Naples has tradition when it comes to crime, like south of Italy is where italian mafia came from, some are Post-soviet republics so they don't have enough money to support law enforcement and have a tradition to not obey laws since they were made by occupiers ( Vilnus, Schkoder) and when it comes to Dublin it's highly densified city with a lot of pubs and let's just say that irish drink a lot of alcohol. Also most of these cities descriptions don't mention murder rates and even if they do they go higher than average american murder rates at place number 2. Also another thing which might cause higher crime- some of these cities like Brussels are important so they are more likely to get attacked by terrorists. And i don't know if it's accurate but Paris might be on the list due to how many revolutions took place in it explicitly ( French revolution had a stronghold in the city and major events in it took place there, same for later shenanigans with their old-new monarchs and french commune, and there were still major tensions between political parties, people and other stuff like that no idea if it holds to this day) also Marsille probably started to shift toward crime after 2015 great immigration crisis, which was pretty controversial ( well still is) which boosted crime overall in Europe. Also i don't think it's as easy to kill everyone with bomb as it is with a gun. Like if we assume that the person who wants to kill others isn't going to do some suicide bombing and wants to live he needs to plant a bomb in a place with high density of people, who also need to keep an eye on him, and when it comes to explosions they don't kill most of the time because of BOOM but because of shards which are flying everywhere after the BOOM ( Like dunno if it's good comparision but Hitler for example survived a murder attempt which involved bomb because it was quite a distance away from him and he got saved by thick table leg- it was probably way more advanced construction because the one attempting assasination was wermacht staff member so it was probably more advanced and dangerous than basic to make bomb from the internet). Anyway props for research, I may not agree with you but i still respect looking for source and some scientific data.
Tumorya | K SO I HAVE TO BE THE ONE SPICING UP THIS CONVO SO I'LL TALK ABOUT RANDOM STUFF THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME THROUGH MY LIFE: 1) Once I was at this market in the open (yk those like spice/fruit markets that they have once a week in some cities) AND A LADY APPROACHES ME OUT OF NOWHERE AND SHOVES HER PHONE IN MY FACE SHOWING ME THE PIC OF TWO RUGS and goes "Which one would look better in my living room" and then shows me her living room and like WTF WAS RHAT LMFAOOOOO also like..I picked the 2nd rug and what if she bought it but actually ended up hating it in the long run and now everyday when she walks in her living room she sighs to herself and hates the stranger that helped her pick the carpet pls 2) I HAD AN ARGUMENT WITH A RACIST DOCTOR AT THE HOSPITAL AT 3AM 3) When I was 7 I got chased by a murderous goose. That's it. It was terrifying..

The church of satan | The intent is different from person to person; defend one's home, defend one's family, defend an innocent bystander, defend one's self, rob a store, mug a stranger, burglarize a home, assassinate a politician, defend a country. It's not the same for everyone. You can't get away with making a generalization because it supports your position without ignoring the facts. How much harder can it be? The 12 most common reasons one can fail a background check are: 1. Convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year or a misdemeanor punishable by more than two years. All purchasers are required to fill out a Firearms Transaction Record, or Form 4473, before a background check is initiated. If they lie about their criminal history on the form, they will have committed a new felony punishable by up to five years in prison. That's right, lying on the form before the background check instantly bars you from buying a gun. 2. Fugitive from Justice. That's right. A surprising number of people fleeing the law just waltz into a gun store like they don't have an arrest warrant for themselves. They don't get guns legally. 3. Unlawful User/Addicted to a Controlled Substance. Drug addicts can't buy guns legally. 4. Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence Conviction. People convicted for domestic abuse can't get guns legally. 5. State Prohibitor. What this means is that some states have their own specific disqualifiers for gun purchases. Tennessee, for example, doesn't allow alcoholics to buy guns because the federal government does. Giving states the ability to amend what makes you eligible to buy guns is a pretty nifty and secure way to compensate for the federal government's failings in this regard. 6. Under Indictment/Information. If you're not yet convicted, but soon will be for a crime whose sentence is a year or longer, then you can't buy a gun legally. 7. Protection/Restraining Order for Domestic Violence. So long as someone has a restraining order on them for domestic abuse, they can't buy a gun. Many restraining orders last forever. This alone reduces gun deaths in domestic violence cases by 60%. 8. Adjudicated Mental Health. If a judge declares someone mentally unfit, they can't buy a gun legally. Now here's the most glaring issue to me. A judge has to do it. I personally would expand it to include anyone seeing a therapist or taking medication for mental disorders such as schizophrenia. States could of course use #5 (the state prohibitor) for this, but the federal government really should add it themselves. 9. Illegal/Unlawful Alien. Understandably, illegal immigrants aren't protected by the constitution. So they aren't allowed to buy guns legally. Few actually even try. Legal immigrants however can purchase a gun. Thanks for doing things the right way, sir (or ma'am,) and welcome to the country. ^_^ 10. Federally Denied Persons File. This is a very broad category used by the federal government. They use it for people who they think shouldn't own a gun. I know, it sounds sketchy as hell. Who knows how many lives it saves? I couldn't even tell you an example for this category. It could mean just about anything as far as I know. :-/ 11. Dishonorable Discharge. No matter how big or small the crime, if you were dishonorably discharged from the US military, you don't get to buy a gun legally. 12. Renounced U.S. Citizenship. It's extremely rare, but when someone does this, they also renounce the rights and privileges they had with that citizenship. That includes their second amendment rights. So they don't get to buy a gun legally either.

Rousd | Authoritarianism is beautiful.
Taurifederation | Yes...Second whatever. So, you Americans have the right to possess automatic weapons, but people who are not citizens have only one right - to be shot.
The church of satan | Congrats, Mr. Sarcastic, you got to be a d-bag on the internet. Want to print yourself a medal for being a crappy person? Actually, only automatic weapons made and owned before 1980 are legal. This means that there is no legal influx of new automatic weapons within the civilian population. Know your gun laws before you make your judgement. Guns are serious business.

Taurifederation | And btw, possessing a pistol is one thing, possessing machine-gun is another. There is no excuse or justification to possess automatic weapon.Unless you want to commit mass murder/massacre people. Pistols have much more limited ammo capacity and thus offensive capabilities. But you cannot convince me and it is pretty absurd to claim that you need machine-gun for self-defence.
