The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Luca glances at Ken, who gives a little wave. “Well, yeah, of course he does. I mean, he did bring you all the way back from the past.” Nathan shrugs. “I don’t know... um... can we get spaghetti? Mommy always makes toast or pancakes for dinner but I wanna have spaghetti. And I wanna do that... barb-y thingy you did last time, with the meat and the grill.” Connie laughs. “Nope, they’ll all go off causing trouble.” Cory smirks. “I think I can make that happen.”
The Federation of Aerlanica | Eastrid smiled and waved back. ****** William nodded. ****** Tsarina nodded. ****** Darcy smirked and slowly nodded.
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Luca shrugs. “Ken’s like me, too afraid to screw things up. You might have to make the first move. And as for making you pretty... well, you’re already pretty, objectively speaking. But I can take you shopping if you want, there’s nothing I love more than spending money on beautiful stuff.” Nathan shrugs. “Um... cereal? I don’t think I’ve had cereal in a while, it made mommy sick when she still had Blue in her stomach.” Connie smiles, taking her hand and walking back with her. Cory smiles. “I’d love to.”
The Empire of Tyramon | Witta looked up at Iblion. Her eyes were cold and defiant, her mouth silent. It seemed that Iblion's actions were only increasing Witta's hatred of him. The witches had learned the hard way that subservience and loyalty to enemies gained them nothing. In the past, their masters had chosen to massacre them. Such actions were not easily forgotten. ****** Most gifts and artworks were put on display in a large, ever-growing museum neighboring the bronzes' barracks. Only the very best went into her private collection in her bedroom. ** ** ** Delegata told him that she was happy to hear that, and reminded him that he could always come and talk to her. ****** Alyne led them to a courtyard where she lay on the grass. She put her hands under her head and instructed the succubi to start kissing her body. Then she turned to Rachael and instructed her to pull the first six succubi to pass to join in the kissing. (Yeah...I'm out of ideas for Alyne.) Corali struggles quite a bit, but she is slowly able to balance. The area that they are able to map is very limited, and there is nothing they can reach beyond the one star system with its one inhabited planet, and there is nothing of interest on the other planets. An object begins approaching the shuttles. It appears to be a small ship, roughly 150m in length. However, it is extremely lightweight for its size, has no electrical or power signature, and has no discernable engines. It does a slight arcane-like energy signature emanating from roughly around its core, however, and there are people aboard it. As it approaches, scanners reveal that its structure is primarily made from wood.
Monsone | "No." The words rolled off Erich's tongue and into the air, bringing with them an unpleasant weight and sensation. They reverberated in the eerie silence that accompanied them, the room overcome with a proverbial chill. Hogan would sigh exasperatedly as Erich simply stood there silently, Ta'lhqejk realizing that there was significantly more to unwrap when it came to the motivations behind Erich's proclamation. Nobody dared to speak, nobody dared to move, nobody dared disturb the eerie silence that reigned in the room. The tension was simply too great. "It isn't my decision to make. Even if it was, I would refuse your demands. Anybody with a sane mind in the Monsonian government would." Stated Erich as he ripped through the silence, bluntly making a point. "There is no trust between the state and the governments of Augusta, and there hasn't been for at least a century. When we bring up arms control, the proposals always get shot down; how dare we Monsonians tell a space-borne power that they don't need an armada of ships which individually could destroy an entire star system. But then, when we develop a singular weapon of last resort which is never actually intended for use--solely for deterrence--the focus is placed on its destructive potential, and its effects." He spat. "Unlike practically every other nation in this universe, Monsone is a signatory of arms control treaties. Nuclear, chemical, biological, and space-borne weapons are all highly regulated by multiple multilateral treaties we signed. Our ground-based radars are neutered in their range and capabilities, with anything more powerful called scientific equipment for legal reasons. Our space forces are by definition, highly illegal, and yet we are forced to possess them due to threats posed by nations that don't abide by arms control treaties of their own. And yet, when it comes to who must give up their superweapons, it always falls on Monsone. It is as if there is no trust in the state to handle its weapons with care and diligence. It is as if a non-first-use policy has lost all meaning despite never having been broken, even in the midst of desperate crises like the Primaeri invasion." "If you want me to try and convince someone like Geiger, you cannot make a demand he will never grant and then expect him to cooperate with you. He is a rational person--like most Monsonian politicians--but he isn't a fool. He knows well enough how to play the game of politics, and will say whatever is necessary to get his way. Superficially he will compromise, but in truth, nothing will change." Stated Erich. "He is a progressive leader, but he isn't about to sacrifice the sole trump card his nation can boast. Not unless there is a total demilitarization of space, as has been the stated position of Monsone on Augusta for the last fifty years." "About Spencer." Sighed Ta'lhqejk as they slightly bowed their head and changed the subject at hand. "I am afraid that he is in no shape to pilot Azalea. After an incident involving Cicada, Iblion, and some Monsonian military officials, he's been in the hospital for some time now. While he is indeed doing much better, he still needs to finish healing and then undergo some physical therapy before he is even considered fit to pilot Azalea. That time is a luxury way may not have. I could distract Iblion for a few weeks--a month at most--but that isn't a given. Hence, we should consider Spencer to not be a part of the equation unless something drastic changes." "And, just out of curiosity, what makes you think that Monsone or Roxium will want to cooperate with you?" Asked Erich. "I don't mean this as an insult, but genuinely, it seems like an assumption that is unlikely to play out. The SIM has never trusted Augustan nations and isn't about to trust COURIER while it is considered a terror organization by the Monsonian government. And, they won't want to trust or cooperate with Cicada and NERv given that doing so would destroy the often delicate relations between Monsone and Shingukai. In short, I just don't see the cooperation you want ever occurring given the current political climate." The Monsonian engineers touring Akechi-Dumont are confused at the statement of cooling the coolant. In their experiences with both nuclear fission and fusion reactors, coolant generally isn't cooled unless it is gas-based such as the carbon dioxide used in now-retired gas-cooled reactors. Said reactors required enormous air or water-cooled heat exchangers which also cooled the carbon dioxide before it reentered the reactor. Given what they now knew about Arcane reactors, the engineers come to a very bold conclusion while considering the factors at hand which lead to the accident; all Arcane reactors should be shut down and replaced with their nuclear fission or fusion because said plants are less risky in the event of a Celestial attack. A very bold and risky assertion to make given the prevalence of Arcane reactors in the Roxian Federation, but the engineers are nonetheless willing to defend. Based on the performance of Monsonian reactors and Roxian reactors during Iblion's attack, it seems inherently obvious to the engineers that Iblion's inability to interact with uranium in the manner with which he interacts with Arcane prevented meltdowns and reactor excursions in Monsonian facilities. Knowing that this gives uranium an added layer of security in the event of an attack or other extenuating circumstances, it seems very obvious to the engineers that the continued use of Arcane energy is excessively risky. They fear for what is to come knowing what already has happened.
The Federation of Aerlanica | Eastrid looked to Kenji, then nodded. Eastrid gave a wave to Corali. ****** "Well we should probably avoid Cerial if it makes your mother sick." ****** Harold was waiting for them, along with Kiki and Blue. Seeing Connie and Tsarina approach, he stood up, smiled, and gave a nod to them. ****** Darcy smirked. Iblion looked at Witta and rolled his eyes. ****** They still continued to produce them for her, every happy to do so. (Suspend for a bit?) ****** Alyne was interrupted by the arrival of her mother, Lithalia, now heavily pregnant and making her way to the palace. "Alyne!" she screeched with joy, "you've a sibling! come along! come along!" She barked orders to the succubi, and once again returned to her makeshift nest where she roosted, aggressively looking out at the Succubi with aggressively defensive eyes, animalistic in nature. She likewise ordered Alyne to the nest, stating that she would not leave under any circumstances until she said so. Alyne sat there, unserviced, as the Succubi kissed and caressed Lithalia's womb as she slowly gave birth.
The Democratic Khanate of Rei Khan | Thomas held out his arms to take Micheal. "Calm down, Mace. Doesn't matter how she knows, just that she does. Question is, what do you want to do about her?" Kara laughed. Kyra blushed. "Thanks..?" Ky kissed her cheek.
The Federation of Aerlanica | Hogan looked into the eyes of Erich, firmly. He looked sideways to Ta'lhqejk, then to Erich once more. He slowly sat down. "Erich, I find it ironic that you support Geiger's wishes to preserve his trump card, while you challenge the detterences of both my city and the Roxiums. However, I am sure that is a simple oversight." Hogan stared into the eyes of Erich, and shrugged. "It appears...that Monsone is bringing the environment of alternative realities, into this one...but one would be a fool for thinking a heater could regulate temperature in a desert, and one would also be a fool to believe complete demilitarisation of space would be an ideal course of action." Hogan reached into the air and with a small sparkle of light and shift of the air, produced a small foulder. He flicked through the pages. "If I recall...the...Roxiums are onto the...One-Hundredth and Sixteenth Radika war, notwithstanding their constant raids along the Trigon Defence Line which might as well be the Trigon Dilapidated Fence for how useful it is. Likewise the Roxium had had four separate "wars" fighting alongside and amongst members of the Galactic Union. Roxium's space fleet is built out of necessity, to ensure their homeworlds remain safe from the Radika threat. Demilitarisation of their space would be a death sentence to tens of billions of people, and suggesting it to the Roxium is about as smart as asking Aerlanica to enact Prohibition; while it may have good intentions, due to the situation of the party you are talking to, it will come across as rude, foolish, and downright illogical to do." "Speaking of the Aerlanicans, currently, in every engagement with the Primaeri, a state hellbent on wiping every last Aerlanican from the face of the universe for eugenic reasons and ill-placed revanchist sentiment, the Aerlanican Navy is the thin blue line that keeps them at bay, keeps the Aerlanicans safe, and preserves what little federation they have left. Calling on them to disband and cast down an organisation that so proudly carried their banner into battle and fought victoriously against all odds would be marked as a counter-revolutionary agent, seeking to weaken the Aerlanican state and undermine the Galactic Democratic Revolution, and extinguish Aerlanican democracy and it's Sacred Constitution, and while I do not believe in the tennants of what the Aerlanicans call "Kasellian Thought", but what we have dubbed "Democratic Fanaticism" or "Democratic Zealotry", I can see why they want a large navy to tell the rest of the would-be invaders to not step on them." Hogan dispelled the document folder. "Is it Roxium's Fault they border a violent, aggressive, and genocidal space nation hellbent on razing, pillaging and destroying everything in their path as well as an empire which seeks to spread communism at all costs, even coming to blows? No, not at all. Is it the fault of the Aerlanicans for having an imperial warrant of death placed upon them which is now carried out by the remnants of the Primaeri with the help of the Tyramonians? One would be foolish to suggest that is the case. However I am certain you do not." He waved his hand. Hogan shrugged. "If Monsone wants leverage, familiarise them with the Battle of Kansas; Roxium vessels engaged a Primaeri flotilla above Kansas which crashlanded, Primaeri troops leaving these vessels were then given orders to attack the Kansans, It was only because of the Aerlanican troops given access into Kansas as part of the Aerlanican-Kansan Trade Agreement, and Kansan and Aerlanican People Militias, that larger loss of live was prevented before Aerlanican and Roxium forces arrived. Tell Geiger to pull on the heart strings of the nations; Kansas, a friendly, peace loving nation commited to non-violence, through no fault of their own, attacked by a space faring nation. If Augusta had no Aerlanican or Roxium military forces or installations, this never would have happened. Make the slogan, 'Never another Kansas', and you'll find that many will flock to the cause of a Demilitarised Solar System." "Of course, there would need to be exceptions regarding extraordinary circumstances such as emergency refueling, emergency repairs, or rapid transportation of wounded individuals. And of course, we will need someone to police the solar system to ensure that no one decides to commit piracy, or circumvent or violate the DMZ, so an international security force could be assembled to act independently of state actors, with crew, craft and supplies donated to it by members of this organisation. This organisation could be used as springboard for various weapons and arms treaties. Monsone recieves its demilitarised zone, the nations of space retain their fleets." Hogan looked to the side. "As for Spencer, if you tell me where he is, I can send some former Priestesses to bolster Alena's efforts. Of course, we will still need the aid of medical professionals to conduct rehabilitation, but we should be able to shave at least a week or two off of the time. "And as for working out how to get Aerlanica, Monsone and Roxium to work together...well, while I may be able to negotiate with gangs, I have little experience with inter-governmental affairs. I cannot help you in this sense. However I will say if you do wish for my material and manpower assistance, I can rally the gangs of New Franco around this cause, citing an existential or outside threat to Franco requiring the gangs to march under the black and red banner once more. In that vein, if you do wish for my assistance further, it should do well to keep me out of these discussions. No government wishes to work with anarchists, and quite frankly, I don't blame them." "Because you'll spread anarchist sentiment to them? Perhaps?" Erich asked. Hogan shook his head. "Anarchy only works on the small scale, and with New Franco my brother nearly pushed the envelope too far. To suggest Anarchy be tested on a state, let alone a nationstate, will lead to unspeakable suffering I do not wish, and will never, endorse. Make no mistake; I was a republican, perhaps a bit of a radical republican, who sought the deposition of a tyrant, my brother, my sister-in-law and her daughter were and are the Anarchists, and very bad ones at that."
The Empire of Tyramon | Corali waved back and tried to stumble over. She slipped and fell forward onto the ice, tail sticking up. ****** Witta paused, then looked down. With a sigh, she stood. ****** (Sure.) ****** Alyne looked on, jealous of the attention. Within a minute of Alyne saying that, it was confirmed. The creature that Lithalia gave birth to was roughly humanoid, with wings connected to the undersides of the arms. Each hand was bony and clawed and had one less finger. The head had a slight snout, two tiny horns, and pointy ears twitched on the sides of the head. As it gave not a baby's cry but a small screech, it revealed its pointed teeth and fangs. A rat-like tail curled slightly between its claw feet.
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Aerlanica Nathan shakes his head. “She says that the stuff that made her sick before Blue was born doesn’t make her sick anymore.” Connie nods. “Yep, ready to go.” Cory nods and slowly takes a step back from Darcy. “Yeah...” Macy hands Michael off and then hobbles her way over to her mother. “I don’t want you here,” she says slowly. “It’s one thing for you to be in my life, though I would appreciate a warning in the future.” She shoots a glare at Max, then turns back to Cassie. “But I do not want you anywhere near my son. You’ve got a lot of years of damage to make up for with me first, I’m not going to let you hurt him.” Noelle laughs awkwardly with her. Kira laughs softly, “I love you.” Lyn smiles and rests her head on Ky’s shoulder.
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | (Missed this one lol)
The Empire of Tyramon | Corali turns to Kenji, cheek on the cold ice.
The Federation of Aerlanica | Eastrid looked over with concern, turning to Luca. "They ok?" ****** "Put this on." A simple dress was thrown at her. It was a basic red dress; easy to put on, easy to take off, not at all impressive but it was something. Once she dressed into the attire, Iblion summoned a leash and attached it to Witta's collar. "Now, what you're going to do, is you're going to obey; we're going on a round trip of the Succubi, and you are going to be a good little pet and trot along behind me, understood?" ****** Lithalia swaddled it all the same, immediately ensuring it latched onto her safely and making certain it began to suckle. "Look at your sibling," Lithalia said, excitedly, to Alyne, "You'll help raise him, my beautiful daughter." She turned to the Succubi, who were enthralled at the sight of another child. "That is two mistress," one Succubi stated, "only last week you were infertile like the rest of us...it is a miracle." Lithalia nodded as the beast continued to feed. "My Mistress is merciful...and so very kind...I should introduce you to our master and mistress, Alyne," Lithalia stated, "Maybe they'll bless you as well." "Well, I don't trust bringing unrefrigerated milk along, and If i have to drink powdered milk again, willingly, I'll riot." William said with a chuckle. "Uh...figure of speach, Nathan, you shouldn't riot against a kind government." "What about an evil one?" "Go buck wild; they want to be evil, they better be ready to face the consequences. Tyranny wins when Good is apathetic, that's why we Aerlanicans aren't apathetic anymore; because last time we were our nation was destroyed." William paused. ****** "Wonderful stuff." William's car turned up; a green 4x4 which he assured was fuel efficient. Also turning up was Darcy in Cory's car. "Hey!" William called to the COURIER agents, dismouting from the car as Harold and Darcy caught up, "How are we doing? I got food and supplies in the back. What'd you bring?"
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Ken laughs. “Glad to hear it! And hey, falling down is part of the ice skating experience.” Luca laughs softly. “Yeah, they’ll be fine. Ken falls down at least twice every time we do this.” Cory shrugs. “I brought Darcy. And snacks. But they’re doctor’s snacks so I wouldn’t recommend them.”
The Federation of Aerlanica | Eastrid nodded. She pointed over to a group of girls giggling and talking, suggesting Eastrid shamelessly eavesdropped on them. "They said something about lokenot, what is it?" ******* Harold turned to Kiki. "Well, if everything is prepared, all that waits is for the highest authority to send us off."
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | “Lokenot?” Luca tilts his head. “I have no clue, sorry Eastrid. “Me?” Kiki shakes her head. “Um, you guys don’t have to wait for me, you can do whatever you want.”
The Federation of Aerlanica | Eastrid frowned. ****** Harold shrugged. William shrugged. Darcy let out a chuckle.
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Luca shakes his head. “Well, you probably shouldn’t listen in on other people’s conversations. It’s not very nice to do that, Eastrid.” Cory nods. “Ready to go!”
The Empire of Tyramon | Witta nodded. ****** "Some blessing that is. And it's a her," Alyne said, pointing out the lack of male genetalia. "Although it is really just an it. It doesn't deserve to be called anything more than a beast." Lithalia noticed a thin layer of dark blue fuzz on the creature. The fur had not been there a moment ago, and Lithalia felt the sharp points of the fur poke her like many tiny needles. After a few moments of suckling, Lithalia began to feel a growing pain where it suckled. The creature stopped suckling and began biting. Corali smiled.
The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas | Ken laughs. “Nope, not missing out at all. And for the record, you fell down very gracefully.”
The Dark Voidlands of The Children of Eternity | Coming through the door to catch only the last sentence of that conversation, Father Prunty pauses awkwardly before clearing his throat. He backs out into the entryway, still talking. He motions to the group, waiting for them to understand what he expects. ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ The deep feelings of guilt and shame are only compounded by the knowledge that she might not even be capable of saving Katrina's mother, but this at least Celeste can be more transparent about. She doesn't quite pull away, but her grip on the other girl loosens somewhat. Celeste shrugs as she tries to rapidly change the topic, hoping to shunt the thoughts out of mind as she always does. And that act alone prompts another wave of disgust as she realizes just how often she has to do that. And yet a certain part of her revels in this confusion, urging Celeste to deepen the web of lies and use it to control everyone she catches in it, including Katrina. That cruelty, which is what first drew her to the service of the Void, binds with her dark powers to force the emotional mess into a quiet corner. For now at least, Celeste returns to her manipulative Eternalist persona. Her arms tighten back around Katrina, voice smoothing out in a comforting manner.
The Federal Republic of Rathoria | The NPN-4 commandos turned Waste-Rangers are picked up by a military corvette and ferried proudly back to Augusta, where they are strutted around High Command in a show for the bureaucrats of the Assembly. Following several long hours of that, after which each and every one of the non-commissioned soldiers (and many of the commissioned officers) have nearly died of boredom, High Command has the difficult decision of determining what to call their newest branch of special forces. It's clear they are no longer strictly members of the NPN-4 and it would be a slight to consider them as such, but that organization did play a part in instilling the necessary mindset for their elevation to Ranger status. Additionally, High Command would like to acknowledge those who trained these new troopers by not exactly changing their name, but still needs a way to differentiate them from the original Aerlanican Waste-Rangers. As such, they eventually come to a decent compromise across all points. The new operatives will be designated as part of the HELIR Corps (for Hazardous-Environment-Light-Infantry, Rathorian), which will be an extension of the army. They will not fall under the jurisdiction of the NPN-4. However, recruits for this program will only be accepted from amongst the ranks of the NPN-4, forcing them to go through two rounds of special forces training and weeding out all but the best of the best. Well, except those that volunteer for orbital insertion duties. ▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ Once all the ceremonial administration is completed, one squad of the HELIR troops is authorized for immediate deployment. All that stands between Rathoria and a full invasion of the Aerlanican homeland is the non-compliant weather and a lack of information on the Tyramonian superweapon. While nobody can realistically do anything about the former, those three HELIR operatives are tasked with infiltrating Aerlanica and finding out as much as they can. Whatever tactics they use to achieve this are up to them, as long as there is nothing tracing them back to Rathoria before the "official" war begins. Naturally no plan goes perfectly, but this one takes an odd turn almost immediately. Two hundred kilometers from the remote section of border they had planned on crossing, an extra man joins up with the team. He brings high enough clearance for them to be unable to turn him away, but none of the operatives have ever heard of him before. Regardless, their now four-member squad pushes into Tyramon-held Aerlanica searching for answers.
Monsone | "Well, what do you expect when this entire planet has been too soft on the Primaeri following their defeat?" Calmly, Erich remarked. "There were no international tribunals of justice formed by all of the aggrieved parties to try and sentence those in the Primaeri government responsible for the most heinous and atrocious violations of fundamental rights and liberties. Indeed, there were trials and a handful of executions, but nothing approximating the level necessary to enact and instill a tradition of pacifism into the Primaeri. Sloppily done justice, enforced by the few victors who carved up the spoils of the empire for themselves, and left the rest out in the cold. All that enabled was the resurgence of a crypto-fascistic state which could have been eradicated if not for the hubris and naïvety of the very nations you defend!" The sudden outburst at the end took Hogan slightly aback. Meanwhile, Erich paused to calm himself, noticing that losing his temper would merely be counterproductive to the situation at hand. "Look, we want the total and unconditional demilitarization of space. It should be solely for civilian use, and this is a condition which must apply to the entirety of the known universe, not merely a select part encompassing a select few nations." Erich explained after composing himself. "The goal isn't to create a deluded bubble of perceived peace, the goal is fundamentally to foster cooperation and development through peace in space. Consider this, if the Primaeri disposed of their space flotilla tomorrow, the Tyramonian occupation of Aerlanica would come to an end shortly thereafter, and a real opportunity for peace would present itself in Aerlanica. Or perhaps in the case of Roxium and Radika, if both entities disarmed themselves, conflicts would cease, and instead of defensive lines, bridges would be built. Categorically, peace occurs when disarmament occurs, and with peace come the benefits of stability and development." "I don't quite care how the demilitarization occurs. Whether it is both sides simply obliterating themselves in their own vacuum of existence, or through treaties and international agreements, the end result is all the same." A pause followed as Erich seemed to be engrossed in his own thoughts before resuming his spiel. "Of course, that is all highly aspirational. Nobody in the Monsonian government seriously thinks that space will be demilitarized, ever. All the Monsonian ships which the Aerlanicans fretted about courtesy of the traitor Jones, well, they are a response to the nature of Augusta's security apparatus. Merely hiding under the temperamental Roxian umbrella of deterrence and defense isn't sufficient when your technology generally lags behind that of your enemies. Thus, the only recourse is to close the gap, and eventually, widen it to your favor." "There is no end to this race to doomsday. Not unless the aspirational dream laid out by Kampelhoftk in his 1973 speech to a panel of Augustan leaders is followed through on. I truly regret having to use him as the gold standard for promoting peace in this universe, but he made eerily correct predictions regarding the ever-escalating nature of the arms race nations like the one the Primaeri and Roxium are locked on. He decried the Galactic Union as an elitist and anti-developmental organization that would hamper the peaceful development of space in the future. But perhaps most eerily, he predicted that nations left behind in this horrific race to the bottom would suffer the harshest penalties. Look no further than out your window to see evidence for these predictions. The arms race still is going strong, the Galatic Union hasn't provided an iota of developmental or economic support to Augustan nations which sorely require the technology to achieve faster than light travel, and the nations left behind in the arms race have suffered the most under incredibly harsh circumstances. On all accounts, he was right, and we were fools not to heed his warning." "This is besides the point of who is morally correct in possessing weapons of mass destruction designed to end star systems, but I'd like to turn our attention towards Spencer and getting three nations which don't particularly like each other to cooperate," Ta'lhqejk said. "In regard to Spencer and his whereabouts, that is something I cannot in good conscience disclose due to a very close call involving Iblion. While you most likely won't betray Spencer, for the sake of mitigating leaks and keeping the whole situation as low-profile as possible, I must kindly refuse that offer. Already Cicada buzzing about and paranoidly observing Spencer like a fly under a microscope has gotten quite obnoxious, and they may not react well to what could be perceived as another move. Already, they threw a fit when Spencer was evacuated from danger without their prior knowledge." "Now, on the subject of international cooperation. The truth will remain that nothing is guaranteed. Cicada's reckless actions have likely pissed a good deal of the Monsonian government off, and COURIER's fiasco has resulted in them being classified as a terrorist organization. Unless that designation is reversed, the Monsonian government and its entities are banned from working with COURIER. At least in a direct and non-covert sense, but that again is based on the assumption that the Monsonian government is willing to work with COURIER. With Cicada, the issue will perenially be their obsession with Spencer. It seemed that the Monsonian plan had been to keep Spencer in Monsone with the goal of letting him live freely until the crises abroad blew over. Given that Cicada in conjunction with NERR utterly ruined that plan and caused trillions in damage to Monsonian Varlokaria, while also aiding Iblion in nearly killing Spencer, it isn't likely that the Monsonian government will want to willingly work with Cicada." They explained. "In short, we have conundrum aplenty." Noted Erich as Ta'lhqejk nodded.
The Intergalactic Federation of Roxium | Celestial S2 core "I feel our best course of action would be to destroy the Celestial S2 core." says a scientist. "I agree. While it pains us to lose such a valuable asset, it has became uncontrollable, and may very well become an Iblion-level threat if not dealt with. We should cancel the Dual-S2 Core experiment and dispose of that accursed Celestial S2 core ASAP!" says Toshi. Risato and the other scientists nod in agreement. Inaki, whom has been partaking in this meeting remotely, says "While normally I would be against such measures, I am in full agreement with Fujiya, Toshi, and the rest of you. The Celestial S2 core is clearly too dangerous to use. Effective immediately, all work into creating a viable Celestial Evangelion is to be temporarily halted, and all resources are to be focused on the Celestial S2 core's destruction." Work on the test site that would have been the site of CEVA-00 Mark II's Dual-S2 Core experiment comes to a complete halt as said experiment is cancelled. The Celestial S2 Core and its containment cell, located several hundred lightyears away from the now cancelled test site, is encased in a solid block of bakelite before being brought to some random spot in intergalactic space. Azalea receives a communication from Risato. "The plans for CEVA 0 Mark 2 have been changed due to a major problem. The problem has nothing to do with the CEVA itself. Rather, it has to do with the method that was originally devised to give it Celestial powers. CEVA 0 Mark 2 was designed with a dual-S2 core system, and one of those S2 cores is a Celestial S2 Core. While we were preparing for the first test of CEVA 0 Mark 2's dual-S2 core system, which would have involved connecting the Celestial S2 Core to it, we discovered that the Celestial S2 Core is... 'sentient'... to an extant. To what extant we currently don't know. Me, the other scientists, and Inaki have elected to cancel the test and figure out how to deal with the Celestial S2 Core. Right now Inaki intends on trying to destroy it through any means necessary." Anomaly The unmanned remotely controlled shuttles cautiously approached the wooden vessel. To the wooden vessel, the shuttles are made from mostly metal. The shuttles also have non-metal parts, those parts being made out of various plastics and other synthetic non-metal materials. The vessel would also note that the shuttles are completely unarmed. As is typical of the Roxium Federation, the shuttles, while very much aerodynamic in design in order to allow atmospheric flight, seem like their aesthetics was an afterthought, their appearance merely being the result of a utilitarian function-over-form design philosophy. The wooden vessel has most likely noticed magic/arcane energies being emitted from the main swiveling engines and numerous reaction control thrusters of the shuttles, along with the magic that is seemingly coursing inside of them, a harmonious combination of magic and technology. Strangely enough, no life signs are detected aboard the shuttles. The scientists in the lab just outside the Jin-Rya Magnetic Hazard are baffled about the wooden vessel. Many questions start being asked, such as how does it not experience 'constant' explosive decompressions while maintaining a breathable atmosphere for its crew, how does it survive atmospheric entry, and how is it able to move in a zero-g environment with no discernable thrusters? By now, the Roxium United Armed Force has started to see some strategic value in the Jin-Rya Magnetic Hazard. As neither Roxium or Kaizen ships can go through it, it is effectively an impenetrable wall. The scientists studying the Magnetic Hazard had already figured that out, hence why their lab is on the side of it opposite the side that faces the front lines of the Third Rox-Kaiz War. The only way Kaizen forces can get to the lab is to go AROUND the Magnetic Hazard. When combined with the heavy RUAF presence around the Magnetic Hazard's edges, the scientists would have ample time to evacuate should the Kaizen Empire try and push around it. Augusta The idea of decommissioning every single arcane fission power plant in the Roxium Federation strikes practically everyone's nerves. Due to how deeply ingrained arcane fission is in the Roxium electrical industry, not to mention the shear numbers of them, decommissioning them has been deemed practically impossible. If one were to create a list of every single operating arcane fission facility in the Roxium Federation, said list not only including the facilities on Augusta, but also all facilities across EVERY Roxium territory throughout Galactic Union space, would be at least a few kilometers long, and that's just the list of all publicly known arcane fission facilities... CEVA The first part of the training exercise was pretty simple: Get CEVA-00 Mark II to walk to a point a few hundred meters away. Being a skilled Eva pilot, Kamina easily accomplishes that. "Pilot-CEVA motor control is nominal." says one of the engineers in a control room as she looks over a live-feed of CEVA-00 Mark II's motor control systems. A phone starts ringing, prompting someone else to pick it up. "It's Risato. The Dual-S2 core experiment has been cancelled. As soon as the training exercise is over, Inaki wants you all to place CEVA 0 Mark 2 in suspension until further notice."
