Global Power Index
The "Global Power Index" is a tool for the United Nations of Aceon to measure a nation's position of power, which is determined by a nation-state's ability to project influence. A nation-state's position in power is calculated by their military, economy, and their cultural/social impact on other nation-states on the global stage. Countries that are more active in the international stage are more likely to gain influence, or hold their position as a power. The "Ranking Board" will determine the influence from highest to lowest in influence. There are two sections that divide the "Ranking Board"; the 'Powers', and the 'Forsaken'. The 'Powers' are nation-states that have some degree of influence on the global stage. The 'Forsaken' are nation-states that are isolated, and can't project power in any meaningful way. The "Ranking Board" will be amended every six months, or annually, depending on the frequency of change between nation-states.Ranking Board:

The Great Powers are among the most influential nations in the world, both in terms of hard power, and soft power. These major players have the capability to engage in multi-front wars, hold onto spheres of influence over geopolitically significant parts of the world, sponsor foreign rebellions, possess/maintain weapons of mass destruction, economically control or impact important international trade routes, culturally enrich other countries, and uphold their virtues upon civilization. These nations have strong, independent militaries capable of protecting their homeland, and their allies. Their economies are frightening, stable, and adaptive to a constantly changing world. Their laws are sound, and their citizens obey them without fault. On the international stage, these nations are respected, and feared by all. Beware the grasp of these giants, and even more so avoid their glaze...

The Regional Powers represent the middle core of geopolitics, often not as strong or influential as Great Powers, but definitely more significant than the Minor Powers. Regional Powers are nation-states that can stand on their own, and don't necessarily require the strength of others to defend themselves, or their interests, by all means. These countries can easily influence their immediate neighbors with soft power alone, and can use their sizable military to engage in two-front wars. Their economies may not be the most powerful, but they are at least sustainable enough to encourage growth and innovation. Society, culture, and law are preserved well enough to keep the nation stable, for now. Remain cautious, and never underestimate them.

The Minor Powers of the world have the potential to have some influence on the global stage, but don't possess the power projection to influence their neighbors. These countries are economically and politically stable, and are developed enough to be taken serious in some situations or disputes, but their foreign policy is largely dependent on how merciful the stronger powers are, or if they can isolate themselves enough to not even be bothered. One day they might matter, but today they don't.

Nation-states that follow an 'isolationist' policy are completely shut-off from the rest of the world, whether they like it, or not. Outsiders do not know much about these countries, neither do any of these countries know much about any outsiders. These nations can be so isolated or distant from the rest of the world, that civilians themselves assume that the outside world doesn't exist at all; either by pure ignorance, or by the deliberate gatekeeping done by their government. These nation-states, despite being members of the United Nations of Barbaria, barely hold any active interest in the international community. It would be pointless to even acknowledge these countries' existence, let alone locate them on a map.The United Kingdoms of

Nation-states that follow a 'semi-isolatationist' policy are barely influenced by the outside world, and can easily choose how often they associate with other nation-states, without the consequences of electing a 'side' to join. Although these countries can resist the measurable influence of exterior powers, they can not project any influence alone. Their opinions barely matter, and they carry no weight on the international stage. At one point these countries were either completely isolationist, or were once a power that has lost its relevancy. Usually a nation would slip into this twilight zone after decaying into a shell of its former self, desperately trying to hold onto whatever power it can grab onto. Nations that follow semi-isolationism can have a military capable of defending their borders, but can not do much with their military strength outside their own national borders. The economy could be fruitful and productive, but trade or international commerce would be difficult to maintain. Despite their ability to 'keep to themselves', these nation-states can be bullied into submission, or to their own content, completely ignored. It would be common sense to leave these cowards alone...
